Heroes of Might and Magic IV is a turn-based strategy game developed by Gus Smedstad through New World Computing and published by the 3DO Company for Microsoft Windows-based personal computers in 2002. A Macintosh port was subsequently developed by Contraband Entertainment and released by the 3DO Company. The fourth installment of the popular Heroes of Might and Magic franchise, it is the sequel to Heroes of Might and Magic III, and was the last to be developed by New World Computing.

Tiger solo carrying Sylvan here is pretty expectable tbh. Just like Golems solo carrying somo Order battles. And yeah, Arch Angel, Crusader and Pikemen stayed undefeatable, cheers! You wouldn't see it coming - true melee team actually prove to be the best.

Melee units are indeed stronger than archers, which of course was to be expected and rightly so. But the problem is that the most important battles are often in the siege arena, where shooters/spell caster units are usually much better (shooters excel at defense because they shoot from tower without penalty and with a large attack bonus, while units with spells excel as attackers - spells don't have range penalty and ignore defense when casted on units on tower). In addition, melee units die more in fights with neutral armies (especially ranged armies), so especially units that don't have a first strike or no retaliation tend to die often (eg crusaders). So I would continue to build ranged units, even if they are weaker, because they will serve much better overall.

What I would say is that nature win rate is too high and is comes down to ability to have manitses/ water elementals to fuck your opponent even more

Ai made some questionable decisions. Going melee with crossbowmen? Charging into enemy pack alone(angel and phoenix)? Attacking blinded enemies?

In HoMM 4 you cant build all units in one castle. You need to choose. So i test all combinations.
