hard to believe this talk has had so few views and thumbs. His more recent talks are being listened to in larger numbers. A great man, and caring Canadian.

"At the present time there's not one democracy in the western world" That state was the most important statement of this lecture

This lecture should mandatory in all business schools in USA and Canada. A few questions for Canadians. Did the NDP rise at the same time as the Bank of Canada? Was NDP an ally or an opponent of the Bank? of Canada I love Canadian history especially to do with banking finance government foreign policy, Can anyone recommend books that cover those areas mostly banking and finance in Canada. Any thoughts in the books of William Gardiner? As an American I've been in love with Canada since my first visit in 1969. May God protect Canada because the voters in 2021 did not. IMHO

Paul Hellyer, born in 1923, passed away in 2021. He must have been well into his mid to late 80s at the time of this discussion.

How about we let the “few” get rich at the expense of the many for another century?! It’s been GREAT so far our economy is THRIVING!! For them..

If he's as well informed about economics as he is about global warming, we can be thankful he's nowhere near the levers of power.

Not sure when this was recorded, but I'm pretty sure Mr Hellyer was in his late 80s at that time. He spoke at several events well into his 90s.
