Wow, she is awesome, campassionate, caring and loving. A true Patriot to The Gambia. As a Nigerian, I am ashamed of our National Assembly because none of the legislators can stand up for the people that elected them. She employed statistics by comparing yearly budgets and here in Nigeria, a presidential candidate of the APC said 'Na statistics we go chop'? She also said non performing Ministers should be sacked which is the ideal thing to do but in my country, Nigeria, non performing ministers are rewarded with more appointments and honours. God bless you Hon. Touma Njie, our 2022 heroine and megastar!

Hon. Touma Nije is truly a role model! (Role models are really scarce these days, many people's actions belies their words). Great courage! God will keep you safe and sound to truly fight for the people you are representing and beyond. Yes we advocate for women to be in decision making, this is an example of women who give us courage that the course is not in vain. That we can ride on and not feel dismayed and continue to hold on to the faith that all will be well.

For the first time, I realized that I haven't voted in vain. How many of her do we need to change our administration. I cannot believe this kind of money is used just to pay a huge amount of up to 6 billion dalasis as salary alone. As she said, the youthful population should be considered, and it is very sad that funds are widely diversified and mismanaged to the extent that we might lose most of our potential and current technocrats.
