Bought a new 2023 CG SE and used 10w 30 for first 3 oil changes. Honda recommends this oil for CG SE. Bike is currently 5k driven. I DO NOT recommend this oil as it's way too thin and has far less viscosity, especially in hot temperatures. It is also not recommended for folks that commute on highways for the most part, on consistent high RPM. I communicate on highway back n forth to work on full throttle and this oil is the worst thing you can do to your bike. A good viscosity oil prevents engine parts from friction and keeps a smooth engine noise. This oil is so thin that you can feel engine friction and noise breaking apart, once the engine is hot (in hot weather on top). There is also significant loss of power once it's hot at the higher end.

Brother 10w30 is a thin oil and not recommended for Honda CG125. I don't know what Honda was thinking when recommending this oil for 125 CG.

​@@TamourTahir Honda don't recommend 10w30 or either 10w40 but some expert Mechanic's recommend to use 10w30(for winter) and 10w40(for summer) in their brand new bike till 10k to 12k mileage, it increase engine's life. After 10-12k it is recommended to use 20w40 or 20w50 wrt weather ☁️.

Dear Nauman, these are air cooled bikes and they work best when oil is changed frequently. In water cooled bikes you can change oil after several thousand kilometers. Due to air cooling temperature of engine is not at par for long intervals of oil change. I hope I am able to answer your question? If still unclear do let me know

Zayan abhe change krwa k he ghar aya ho. Same Honda 10w30. If you have no issues with Havoline then keep on using it however if you want to then do try it. I used it first time after 20,000 km

I've been riding for almost 30 years and did all the experiments. I've found 15w40 the best, so far. Technically, it's diesel engine oil with no friction modifiers in it. It's perfect for wet clutch plates and long term interval. Just try it, and you will be amazed. Thanks and regards. Brother, I already said that diesel engine oil doesn't contain friction modifiers in it, so it's perfect for all three components of the bike, including wet clutch plates. Thanks & regards
