Its not about rpm. .if ur engine oil has bad quality then engine will surely overheated. .I switched up to motul . .I had changed 7 box of 7100.. top notched Best result . . NO DIRT inside my engine . .I changed this oil within 3500. .Planned to make a video abput my experience.. please give an explaination here i have a 12 year old tvs scooty streak, ran almost 43000 km, full servicing was done at sep13 {41602 odo indicated} and today its 20th oct {42909 odo indicated}. It was a motul scooter electra LE engine oil, left about 100-150 ml. Why my scooty drinking this much engine oil. Like literally ran around 1000+km and the engine oil was also a semi synthetic. but there is no {black or white} smoke coming out of the silencer, also behaving completely O.K with good milage, good acceleration. what is happening ??

I have TVS Ronin 225cc, using fully synthetic oil with 10W30 grade but after oil change and once the bike crosses 2500kms the engine starts heating up a lot while the authorised dealers suggest to change oil after 3500kms but the heating issue reaches its height till that mark one thing is I can change the oil brand what else I should do to minimise the heating issue ? Also do I need to flush engine before switching from tvs synthetic oil which is currently in use to any other brand ?

Probably, you are using oil with high viscosity index which is relatively thinner in the oil sump (hence flow rate is higher than piston absorption rate), this will cause oil over heating. Either use 10w30 oil with viscosity index below 150 (135-145) or use 10w40 oil. (Warning, higher grade oil than recommended grade slightly reduces the mileage)

I use motul 5100 10w 30 engil oil ... Nd trust me for long rides this is best engine oil .. bike runs smooth without any overheating issue ... I stopped my bike( hero splendor) only once(15 min) on a trip of 250 km... One side... without any issue.... Abhi kuch din pehle hi june ke month me.... So agar koi rides karta hai ya fir engine ko sahi rakhna chahta hai long period ke liye then go for semi synthetic engine oil.... Castrol and motul are best engine oil companies..
