This video is about Maruti Dzire zxi plus 2023 vs Honda Amaze vx 2023 : When we took a look at this segment of compact sedan very few options are available like : maruti dzire , hyundai aura , tata tigor & honda amaze even price of these cars are also almost near to similar only have difference of 10-20 thousands only. The price of Maruti Dzire zxi plus is 8.84 lakh ex-showroom in this top model of dzire maruti offers projector headlamps , DRL's , remote key , 15 inches multi spoke alloy wheels , electrically adjustable and retractable orvm's , Engine start and stop button , 7 inches touchscreen infotainment system , wired apple car play and android auto , automatic climate control , leathered steering wheel with natural wooden finish and mounted controls and tilt adjustment , analog based instrument cluster with MID , good comfortable and cushiony seats with all 4 head rest adjustable and driver seat with manual height adjustment , rear seats also have arm rest , rear ac vents , 12 v power socket 1 in rear & 1 in front , USB and aux port in front , good storage space , 2 cup holders and much more. As per safety is considered Maruti offers disc breaks in front and normal drum breaks in rear , ABS , EBD , BA , rear view camera , rear parking sensors , rear defoggers. Dzire is 3995 mm in length and have wheel base of 2450 mm where as honda amaze offers a wheel base 2470 mm but comes with a same length , also thier is a bit difference in the boot space : maruti dzire :- 378 L , honda amaze : - 420 L , hyundai aura :- 402 L , tata tigor : 419 L. Over all the plastic quality maruti have used in dzire could be much better at this price point , dzire is a good car but still I missed arm rest in front and also felt the infotainment system too out dated it should be a good one at least in top trim.
But the main and best point about Maruti Dzire in Engine ( Maruti's k series : k12 1.2 L 4 cylinder petrol engine with dual jet and vvt generates 88.50 bhp of power and 113 nm of torque and claimed mileage is approx 22 kmpl .
Honda amaze is compact sedan that can be considered as best in segment. First let's talk about safety Honda amaze is 4 star rated compact sedan by ncap , amaze offers 2 airbags , ABS & EDB as standard safety features , Automatic head lamps , rear parking camera , rear parking sensors , defogger's and much more. In this video we have Honda Amaze VX top model which is priced at 8.74 lakh ex-showroom and the base model E is priced at 6.93 Lakh best about this car is it offers Projector Led head lamps , Led fog lamps , power adjustable and foldable ORVMS , Push start button , best in segment cabin , driver seat with manual height adjustment and seats are quite comfortable and the colors in cabin are also gives a good feel as per features there are some hits and miss : In 2023 still Honda amaze misses Armrest in front , Rear head rest are not adjustable and also misses rear ac vents , still Honda continuous the out dated 7 inches infotainment system it supports apple car play and android auto works well without any lack but the user interface is good as per the Honda standard's on the other hand amaze offers premium cabin with a suburb space management , multi function steering wheel with cruse control , tilt adjustable steering wheel , automatic climate control and much more . Honda amaze offers 420 L of boot space and 2470 mm of segments leading wheel base and 170mm of ground clearance . Honda amaze comes with 1.2 L 4 cylinder iv-tech petrol engine and 1.5 L diesel engine with 5 speed manual and CVT transmission , in this video we have amaze vx with 1.2 L petrol engine manual which generates 88.50 bhp and 110 nm of torque. Claimed mileage with Honda amaze is 18 kmpl approx.
Segments other compact sedan Tata Tigor major drawback is that Tigor comes with 1.2 L revotron engine which is 3 cylinder unit so due to this refinement level is not as per that standard. Hyundai Aura comes with 1.2 L kappa 4 cylinder petrol unit this comes with a great level of refinement and also performs well and Maruti Suzuki Dzire offers 1.2 L dual jet dual vvt 4 cylinder petrol unit which is a segment's best engine in terms of refinement and zero maintenance engine also gives a best in segment fuel economy but the only drawback with dzire is its build quality means the body shell of the dzire is not as solid as the other cars like : amaze and Tata Tigor.

Excellent and to the point review ❤ I bought honda amaze vx cvt on 10th July 23. Drove around 500km so far. My honest feedback 1. Absolute silent engine 2. Cvt is a gem with smooth shifting with few lags due to rubber band effect. But the paddle shifter does the job in an excellent way. You can use paddle shifters both in D and S mode. 3. Seating comfort is great 4. Ac is superb with rear and front defogger effect. No need for rear ac vents 5. Quiet practical features are there for regular use. No need to pay for the gimmick features like sunroof. 6. Build quality is average though it has managed to get 4 star adult safety rating. But please note the child safety rating is only 1. Which is very poor and pathetic to be considered as a safety measure 7. Mileage in city without any service I am getting around 13 to 14 kmpl. 8. Boot space is adequate for 4 adult passengers on a long trip. 9. Honda has made some adjustments on the ground clearance. So far I did not experience any issues with that while managing big pot holes or in the uneven bumps 10. Led headlamp is an absolute right upgrade in the face-lift. This will definitely help you in pitch dark roads at night.

i have an amaze cvt. but for people who wants comfort and power i recommend going for dzire. amaze wobbles a lot because of ultra soft suspension, rear headroom is very bad for 6ft passengers. if going for amaze, pls dont take cvt, go for the manual. city mileage i get 13 kmpl, highway long trip 18.

I bought amaze top model cvt 2 months ago and drove 1200 km. It is my first car. Its a driving pleasure all together. Very comfortable and tension free journey. Bro, an Amaze crashed into my Venue from behind at a speed of 20kmph. It was raining and the driver couldn’t apply brakes at correct time. I was in a standstill at a traffic light. I got out to check the damage - just a single scratch on Venue’s bumper but both the headlights of Amaze were gone, bumper was out plus somehow his wiper was broken too!
