Old but great video! Thank u! Let me ask you tho. I have an 85 125m. Just fired it up for the first time today since purchase. Fires up fine and its idling along and i notice smoke coming out from between the side case and pull rope cover. Shut it off and pulled the cover off to find the flywheel rubbed on and melted most of the plastic. Do you think the little lever that comes out didnt drop back in all the way and started from there? I fired it back up without the cover on and the flywheel spins staright as an arrow so i know it isnt bent

the rope frayed apart about 5 inches from the top of the pull handle. I can't figure out how to get rope out of the handle itself. I took the plastic cap off and the rope is all knotted down in there. I tried to pull out with needle nose pliers to no avail. Suggestions?

Brock1 try using a thin bladed screwdriver, and go from the bottom up and push it out that way. May have to wack the screwdriver handle with a rubber hammer to get it to budge

Finally got it out I soaked it in oil. The rope was so old it just kept turning to dust when I would get a hold of it with pliers lol. cheers
