The 75/90/100 HP engine is a marinised version of the Honda Jazz engine, so your probably not far wrong mate.

I got a new lund adventure 1775 on its way to me and im trying to decide on the 115etec HO or the bf115. Going from a 1998 60hp johnson 2S.

Hye I got same problem.. Bf150... Already changed n service trothle body injector also plug but the result still same as before

Was the injector the bottom one?

Can’t recall which one it was, but the problem was it being the wrong type of injector. I bought a set of 4 from a marine wrecker 2nd hand. After checking the Part numbers, one of them was for a Honda Jazz car engine which the BF-75/90/100 is a marinised version.

Removed all 4 injectors for a flow test. It revealed that one of the injectors was delivering slightly less fuel and had a distorted spray pattern. Replaced the injector with a new item and problem went away.

@@666dipster how did you test? did you do it yourself?

@@jimmysiljstedt2909 I took the set of injectors to a Fuel Injection specialist who installed them into a test rig. It was basically a set of clear plastic tubes with index marks to observe and analyze the spray pattern of each injector in comparison to each other. It was instantly obvious one of them had an abnormal pattern, I replaced it and the problem went away. The cost of having them tested wasnt too bad, but a new injector was very expensive.
