That video couldn't be a better testament to the rugged reliability of those bikes. Beat'em to death and they still bring you home. Very likely one reason why the Honda Cub is the single largest selling motor vehicle in history. 👍

To a casual, non-motorcycle observer it probably looks totally reckless...but this kind of off-road riding is actually the best way to learn how to deal with all types of road conditions. And I'm sure Mr Honda would be very proud that you did it on Cubs!

My pleasure Lindon. I started my two wheeled career on an old bronze C90 back in the 80's. I now have a garage full of big Hondas (Africa Twins, VFR's etc) - however pride of place are two gorgeous C90's. The greatest machine on earth, the best selling vehicle on the planet!

Yup, spent as much time repairing as riding. But so worth it. Hard to do it now tho, just about every green lane by us has been shut. Now over grown and not even usable by walkers. Good luck with your endeavours.

Absolutely loved it!!! Some great riding there. That on-road spill at the 5.37 mark looks a bit scary - did you do it on ice - it's not that clear what happened? Brill editing too!

It was a ruddy pothole with grit in it. Went from straight under me. Cost me a £5 wing mirror, so can’t complain lol. Yes we like to let a little steam of and have our selves some rib aching from laughter. Thank you for your appreciation of the video.

I am sorry to hear that, and there's us wishing we had the freedom and trials that we thought you have. What little we have here is hard to find. unfortunately there are people out there making it their mission to make life miserable and boring for everyone els, just because they don't like motorbikes or anything with an engine for that mater. But we shall toot on best we can.

Well , I'm in rural Missouri.. can still trail ride a bits. Bought a decent Honda CM91 super cub 90. This is exactly what I'm thinking of doing. Bought a larger rear sprocket and some Knobby's..

@lindonmartin6 жыл бұрын
Hay mate happy to help. 2005 onwards Honda cg 125 have disk brakes. But the steering stem/yoke from 2005 onwards doesn't fit c90. Either get a pre 2005 cg125 front end and stick with drum brake and that will jsut fit straight on no problem or get the front end from 2005 onwards and also get hold of the steering yoke from pre 2005 separate and mix and match that way. if you want to keep the c90 handle bars you will ned to make a plate to attach to the yoke and then place the handle bar and mount on top of that.

HudzManBeats hey bud. Hard to say. It’s little snippets of everywhere over 5 or so years mainly West Yorkshire. What ever little green lanes are left hidden in plain sight in built up areas some of them, and a little forage of the annual gathering in Matlock.

Paul Vickers hey bud. Yeah Iv missed a few years Matlock meets for various reasons, but hoping to back to normal and be there this year for the official gathering, it’s always a blast. Not sure when it is this year, waiting to see what is mentioned on the Facebook c90 club forum.
