At becoming a 76 year old a few days from this writing, I must wonder if your thoughtful video of the "glorious" C-90 cub might be the closest I get to actually riding one again ! Thank You so much for another nostalgic Honda Cub video. Greetings once again to all from Ontario, Canada.

Don’t be afraid, go out and get a small bike and have some (mild?) adventures! I re-started my motorcycling aged… 73 I think. I’m now a week away from my 78th birthday, have a 1992 Serow (Yamaha XT225) and a stripped 2006 Honda Innova (ANF125) and I’m really enjoying my bimbles round the Welsh countryside and playing at adapting the bikes in my garage. It really is not too late! Les in UK 🇬🇧

Being a teenager in the 1970's I had a C50 to go to work on. Loved it and regretted selling it for ( £1 a c.c.) £50! My Dad got back into motorcycling in the late 70's a bought a brand new C90. Very jealous! A friend had a C70 which went very well. I don't know if I would get one again, but this video certainly is making me think!

What a Great Film! I've just come back from Skiathos and Skopolos in Greece and these Hondas were everywhere. They use these Hondas more than they use cars over there and you see tradesmen with ladders and tool bags hanging off the back. A good challenge would be to buy one over there and ride it back to the UK.

I once owned a grey and white 1972 C90 back in the 80s. It was my commuter bike when i lived and worked in London. However, i also used to drive it to and from Cambridge at weekends. The old A10 was perfect, even though, legally, i could have used the M11. Such a great bike. Economical and reliable.

I see you don't rev on the downshift. Once you push your foot on the gear lever, the auto clutch engages, give the throttle a quick blip and complete the change into a lower gear lift your foot off the lever and you have a super smooth downshift without cluncks, better for the gearbox as well.
