Die CB 250 N war nach vier 250 er Hondas die fünfte dieser Hubraumklasse. Dann geriet auch ich in den Sog der aufkommenden Vierzylinder. Reichlich zwanzig Jahre und etliche Motorräder später legte ich mir erneut eine 250 er zu ( diesmal Suzuki ) und ich war vollständig glücklich. Die 250 N - in derselben Lackierung wie hier durch Joga 82 präsentiert - war die einzige Honda von insgesamt zehn Hondas, mit welcher ich je einen Defekte erlebte. Es war der Schwimmer des Vergasers (rechts), welcher aus einem zweiteiligen Hohlkörper bestand und dessen Plasticschweissnaht leckte.

A bike I purchased brand new in 1981 in Australia, in the same colour as featured here. Great looking mags, the best I've seen on a motorcycle and, by far the easiest to clean. Not super quick off the mark, but more than adequate to keep up with the flow of traffic, and can cruise all day at 100/110 km/h on the freeway. Easily maintained, and when you consider today's crop of bikes, where their arse end points at the sky, it's styling leaves them all in the shade. Honda needs to reintroduce this model, styling unchanged as a retro classic. They'd stampede off the showroom floor. *HONDA, please take note* ...
