I studied this bike for a year and just had to have one. Found a leftover 2018 in black - which is what I wanted anyway. Still too much silver on it for my taste, so I blacked it all out - a real head turner. No, it's not the baddest bike on the block, but it's certainly the best looking. Besides, in normal use, who needs more than 145 HP? I traded in a VFR1200F for this bike and I'm happy as hell with it. It'll keep up with the VFR up to 80 MPH, and believe me, 467 pounds is a lot more fun than 600 pounds. Smoothest engine in the world, and, yes, the muffler sounds just fine. Plenty of torque in any gear - even in 6th at 25 MPH it's got smooth strong acceleration. I've never ever been burned by a Honda, from my Super-90's in the '60's, my first true love CB750 in 1970, a CL450, V45 750, V65 Sabre, V65 Magna, VFR1200F, and now this beauty. I love this bike. Call it Naked, call it NeoSports Café, call it whatever you want - it's a great bike.

If only they made a 600cc version with the 2008 CBR600RR engine, same styling, keep the price at 8000ish, that would be perfect.

I'm glad I didn't buy the CB1100RS, I preferred to wait until the right bike came along and this one is spot on for me, I think is the right bike I was waiting for, the RS lacked powered (only 90bhp) but this one delivers 143 almost the same as my old X11, so YES this is the bike I've been waiting for, great review and video, thanks.

Honda, can you PLEASE release a 4 cylinder 700-800 roadster? No I don't want a cb650f and your 1000cc is too expensive. And no I don't want the NC whatever. Give me a rival to the Z750/GSR750 with a Honda touch. Basically that thing but cheaper and less powerful, I don't need 140hp, 100 will do.

This review was too spec-oriented. Nowhere and in the review has the reviewer said where was he very pleased or unsatisfied with the bike. To average words, nothing stands out, that's the vibe that I am actually picking up of from the bike. Cool design, mature and competent bike, but relatively "vanilla". But that's actually Honda, so no surprises in that department, I guess.

@bennettsbikesocial
@bennettsbikesocial 6 жыл бұрын
Tough choice! Other than the £1000 price difference (RS vs +), in terms of enjoying a 'spirited' ride there's little to chose between them. The screen and electronics are more advanced on the Triumph while the Honda has a certain character about it that's so good. Having ridden them both, it'll all come down to personal preference so give them both a go and let us know what you think. Cheers, Michael

Where did you test ride it ? Only a couple of places in the world where it could be described as too slow, and they are German Autobahns or the Mountain section of the Isle of Man TT course.

Looks bland and lacks any style and looks soulless. I'm sure it'll ride and perform well enough though.

Wut? This is literally the only bike with that look. All other manufacturers are going for the super aggressive manga look. How can she looks soulless when she doesn't look like the rest?
@addicz2
@addicz2 6 жыл бұрын
Mangalex28 Souless because no vibrations, no engine noise, no complicated electronics, no auto burn and it's no white engineering. That's why it is souless.

Ugly bike. And what's with the blinking indicators at 1:15? And what's with the indicators being constantly on at 1:45? Honda can't seem to build bikes anymore with that shoddy wiring. Still has the retarded horn button in the wrong place as well.

Blinking under hard braking for attention. Many cars have it today. And probably also position lights. Stop looking for stuff to complain, Honda builds very nice bikes. Only downside to this one is the price
