This was fascinating to watch, and as the owner of a CB360 tremendously informative!

Loved the video. Bought my first bike 2 months ago, Honda 1976 CB360t. Broke down two weeks ago and am currently in the process of fixing it. This video has been very helpful thank you!

At 0:44 the two halves of the crankcase are shown nice and clean with the kick starter and gear changer installed. Did you leave these in during disassembly and clean them in place?
@LightningMotorsportsAZ11 ай бұрын
I left both assemblies installed in the case half and inspected/tested/cleaned in place. Obviously, you can remove them if you would like to but I've had no problem leaving them in place.

I so needed this video, thank you very much for posting it. Is the stuff in the silver tube just any gasket maker or is it something special?

Hi there Thanks for checking out my video. I used permatex ultra grey for mating the cases and covers on this bike. I use permatex Motoseal for anything fuel related. Some folks will suggest Hondabond, Yamabond, and three bond. I've used all of them and they all seem to work for me. Good luck with your build.

Where does the round rubber ball go on the clutch side cover
@LightningMotorsportsAZ2 ай бұрын
@@tnash2698 question is a bit confusing The right side case cover, covers the clutch. Not sure about a rubber ball on that side The "left/clutch side" cover that is just outside of the front sprocket... Has the clutch ramp mechanism that is actuated by squeezing the clutch lever and results in the push rod separating the clutch plates on the opposite side of the engine In the center of the clutch piece (where the rubber seal is that is pressed into this cover over the front sprocket, there's a small metal ball that belongs here (ball bearing). Can't recall a rubber ball that you're asking about
