Jap only for many years. Picked up a 2010 cb400 3 days a go. A decent upgrade from 200cc, and a whole lotta fun. Acceleration is pretty in sane in comparison. Funny to think not even the fastest in learner approved.

Woow, I think it was cool that you can easely reach the top speed of CB 400 SF VTEC Spec II. In my country that's something hard to reach except you ride in the circuit. And unfortunately CB 400 series didn't market in my country by Honda.

@@urielvillegad9982 Single cylinder, but I'm sure with the new CBR250RR they'll update it with a parallel-twin later on. The latest CBR300R was from 2015 and in my country the 250R single was discontinued to replace it with 250RR so they can compete with the other parallel-twin rival such as Kawasaki's Ninja 250 and Yamaha R25.

It's a 6 speed box but in the pull he only used 1st-5th gear. He only uses 6th gear at 2:56 I wonder if it just doesn't have enough power in 6th to pull to redline? Might benefit from being geared down a tad so 6th gear is a little more usable?

i think 6th is more there for economy. you dont really need or want to be going faster than even 160km/h on a bike like this, with no screen! you can roll around town at 55km/h in 6th from what i've read.

I ended up buying one. Can confirm it did not pull to redline in 6th. If I had my time again I'd probably gear it down a tad for my mostly city riding. Excellent bike tho, miss it sometimes

max power is at 11000 rpm at whcih on 6 gear it have 155-160 gps where top speed is 180-185 gps around so on 6 it end accelerate at somewhere around 12-12,5 k rpm way above max power rpm point so its defentiely not over gear from this point of view its even undergearing so lil to short silly boi🤭 👌🏻redline is pointlesss he spin engine to far on each gear 12,5 k rpm is max for this power characterisitic not to 13-13,2 k rpm 👌🏻 unless exhoust etc change power graph 👌🏻

the CB400 actually fits into some niche position in licensing system of some countries that you only need a rating of smaller engines to ride the CB400. it's not like the EU where bigger engines are detuned to suit the driver ratings, the license rules over how big an engine you can ride on.

I've got my eye on sweet yellow/white 2001 CB400 Vtec low km. It's in Vietnam so the price is jacked up like all bikes over 175cc. They want $5,000 usd To compare prices I sold my 2001 Kawasaki ZXR1200r in California that was also in perfect condition for $2,500 and that was a good price 2yrs ago. What do you think is a good price for a CB400??? I've heard stories of guys buying in Cambodia and having the bike "delivered" to them in Vietnam but the registration can't be transferred so you have to make a phony blue card for it.

You don't realize how little we value vehicles in the US until you stay away for a while. 10 year old R6's here in the Philippines still sell for close to $7,000, 15 year old 400's selling for $5,000 all day.

Жека Медведведев ты себя слышал, на какой скорости, по GPS замеряется скорость он мереет сколько метров ты проехал за определенное время и из этого делает вывод о скорости, а не опирается на то сколько оборотов и на какой скорости ты выкручиваешь, а именно из этих показаний он и выдает скорость и именно по этому спидометры на мотоцикле всегда врут, ну вот я видел на заднем колесе ехал спорт по городу со скорость до 282 км/ч где то на видеоролике, вот где так можно разогнаться в городе вообще?? а это было днем на оживленной дороге, вот как думаешь судя из того что скорость 280км/ч это приблизительно 75метр/сек ну так вот сколько так можно ехать на заднем колесе? я думаю не более 6 секунд среднее расстоянии от светофора до светофора приблизительно 500 или от пешеходного перехода до пешеходного перехода, приблизительно 250 метров следовательно скорость можно развить не более 200 км/ч и то слишком опасно машины, например, по городу более 120-140 км/ч ни где не могут разогнаться, ну разве, что на мкаде до 240км/ч, но там нету ни перекресков, ни пешеходных перехов, а на байке до 282 км/ч разогнаться по городу до сих пор вспоминаю и думаю, а вот в реальности он ехал тогда хотя бы 200км/ч разогнался или нет, все такие наивные еденицы проверяют скорость по GPS Все остальные верят нагло врущим спидометрам я в шоке, может ли subaru impreza WRX ехать 200 км/ч??? да этот тазик на такой скорости бы развалился на части реально он больше 150 км/ч не поедет вообще кто этому поверит? те кто наивно полагают, что спидометры показывают реальную скорость, без вычисления ее по количеству оборотов, вот и все!
