I feel you on the stock gaiters and ears. No big loss. But for a bike that's going to get miles, I'd swap that master cylinder out for something from a more modern Honda. The single-pot calipers can lock the front at speed, sure. They'll just squeal like mice in fire while they do it. But the feel with the stock MCs is terrible.
