Honda CB500 Four, 1976 - full restoration

Here a selection of pictures (in total there are more than 1500) showing the restoration of my Honda CB 500 Four K0, 1976.
The beauty was hidden for almost 10 years in a barn in Burgenland, Austria.
After a bit more than 1 year (April 2015 - August 2016) I had the bike fully refurbished back on the road. I had every single screw, toothed wheel,... in my hands.
I changed a lot of parts, re-plated a few and polished even more. The frame was powder coated and the motor glass pearl blasted.

Wunderschön restauriert diese echte Schönheit. Habe selbst auch eine CB 500 Four (Bj. 1976) gefahren und diese damals als junger Kerl LEIDER!!! gegen einen Ford Capri 2,6 GT eingetauscht. Dein Video lässt nur vermuten, mit wieviel Liebe du diese Honda bearbeitet und wieder in einen ihr würdigen Zustand versetzt hast. Tolle Leistung und herzlichen Glückwunsch. Jetzt - bereits einige Jahre im Ruhestand - fahre ich einen Harley Road King, der zwar auch viel Spaß macht, mich aber vermutlich nicht davon abhält, irgendwann noch einmal eine CB 500 Four zu ihm in die Garage zu stellen, ... und ab und zu ein paar Ausfahrten damit zu machen, und so die unvergesslichen und wilden siebziger Jahre gedanklich noch einmal zurück zu holen. It's either an earlier model than a 1976, or it's not a 500...'74 was the last year for the 500, after that they were 550s...and where are the side cover badges?

fondefull bike, i has young boy same bike, same year. i build chopper this and drive many meeting. i want same again but thailand im retiree there not have many ,not has found cheap restore bike. my first bike has 14 year age honda 125,then honda 350, then 500 four and 750 four, suzuki 1000 3 cylinder "watergun" and honda rebell 450 in thailand and shadow 600, but need found 500 four somewer cheap can build bopper.

Sorry for not coming back earlier. Bought the bike for about €1600 Materials (paint, ...) and spare parts about €4000 and another €1000 for tools which I did not have at the time. Total €6600
