nice work. If I might make a couple of recommendations, You should probably hook your gauge set up to a common vacuum to see if they are set to each other. Not uncommon to find they will read differently and that can lead slight errors in syncing the carbs Another thing, I would recommend using OE needles and seats. I have much less anxiety and my vocabulary is much more G rated using OE. Nice job!

Great job, GG! Yeah them air-screws are the last step,. Glad you dialed them, and looks like they were happy!. 😄👌.. By hear and feel, it's seemed very fine now! All your work, finally paid off, right! Glad on your behalf! Enjoy!

When I saw it had pod air filters instead of the stock air box and filter, with that exhaust, my mind went to air/mixture screws.

I had the exact same problem on my Yamaha XS1100. Chinese carb parts and floats not in spec are a massive deal on these bikes.

Isn't a slow return to idle a lean condition..Isn't gauge the floats while they barely touch only lean out the bike more? My question is does the grip snap back to rest position? Great video GG!

Yes, a slow return to idle normally is a lean condition so I have no idea why opening the air screws fixed it but it did, it made more of a difference than anything.

Yes, the grip snaps back to rest position just fine, that was definitely not the issue but thanks for the suggestion Randy!

What’s the worst case scenario if the floats aren’t set to 22mm? I’ve had to guess mine as the over flow was leaking.
