This bike just keeps getting better! The last main hurdle of this bike is sorting out the title situation which I have been working on since day 1. Once I have that sorted I will update everyone.

I used the zip tie method to put on new tires on my bike last week and the rear tire took 4min 2 sec to seat 😁 then front tire was even faster . definitely the way to go when mounting tires yourself.👍

Those new tires sure make the bike look nice, and the ride seems very smooth. I am not a fan of choppers, but there is something about this one that I like. Guessing the CB750 heritage.

From my hideout in S/E Asia, I get a very real sense of what you do to be replicated here, although not to your high standards. Local workmanship has always appealed to me, and they've kept my CB's alive and well, although a shortage of original parts means borrowing and adapting. It's a pleasure to sit and watch your work as the monsoon barrels in at 4:00pm

Nice job salvaging the front brake parts and straightening those forks! On the 74 CB750 that I salvaged out of a shed my front master and caliper were similar and I just never thought to save them, so I replaced them with aftermarket parts. Really like that chopper! Hard to believe the stock pipes are still on there. Can imagine how many folks watching this channel would love to have those on their bike!
@BrickHouseBuilds
@BrickHouseBuilds 6 ай бұрын
Oh the pipes are definitely the most desirable bit to say the least. While yes you can replace a lot of stuff for less time, I often like to rebuild when I can as the parts on the bike have a consistent patina to everything else.

I wonder how much it costs to rechrome the wheels. A 16in rear was put on my 1975 cb750 and I'm not sure how to find a replacement and it looks worse than yours. I also need to get the frame powder coated. I don't think that will be too bad because there is a shop here that does a lot of dirt bike frames for a decent price.
