Why does honda recommend 10w 30 and everyone uses 10w 40 on the CBR600rr?

Most inline 4 motor cycles call for 10w30 in normal temperatures and 10w40 in higher temperatures. I’m not sure exactly what the service manual says for this specific motorcycle. But, because my shop is in southwest Florida, I go with 10w40. Thanks for the comment!
