I've been riding the same F2 for the past 17 years and it's still one of my favorite bikes ever. It's fun to come back and watch this video. lots of power (even though I agree it's plenty to have fun) and a thin seat seams funny by today's standards!
@archamusdk12735 жыл бұрын
hahah yeah the seat part i didnt understand. i found it veeery comfy and mushy. compared to todays standards with is basically just a plank of wood.

I agree just bought my 97 cbr 600 f3 with 5’685 miles in 2017 Two months ago and love it, it’s my 3rd 600 and this thang preforms amazing! here on the Tennessee roads it’s a blast love the looks! Makes great power and handles really good! I’m 37 now and honestly like it better than my YZF600R and gsxr600 Honda has got it right.

I have had mine since new March of 1991. Has 36,000 miles and is still awesome. I hate putting it away ever winter, but I know I need to move on since I am now 57.

I owned the CBR 600 F2 back in 94, put 14k miles on it in 9 months. Was my 1st bike and I loved it. Then moved up to the 95' CBR 900 RR the next year!

Great video. I love my F3. There are a lot of nice modern 600s and literbikes out there today, but this bike screams character. I love seeing so many of them still on the road today

I have just bought one of these (Oct 2017). They are brilliant, as a mature rider (38) who has recently passed their test , this is my first bike. For the age, I was gob smacked how smooth and fun this is to ride. I was also taken back to how light it feels. I agree with what they say on this video, being an older bike having no fuel gage etc is a bit of a pain, however it doesn’t take long to get use to knowing when it needs petrol. When the sound changes (to spluttering), turn the gage to the reserve which will then allow you 30 miles to find a petrol/gas station. The power and manoeuvrability is also good for a beginner, very forgiving bikes. I definitely recommend one of these, don’t let the age put you off. Happy and safe riding from the UK.

I bought a 96 F3 brand new back in the day after earning my chops on a 93 Kawasaki EX 500... But then... I was reborn... I bought a 2002 1100 Blackbird... *HOLYSHIT... I WAS REBORN!* Liter Bikes... *THERE'S NO SUBSTITUTE!*

What's interesting is if you expose the airbox you can see two hoses on the front that lead nowhere. It already had two air openings on the fairings which mean they had already planned for the RAM air intake but likely didn't have time perfecting it until the F3 which has nearly identical fairings.

Those are marked "Direct Intake Cooling" on the UK models, always made me chuckle, they do have a slight deviation towards the radiator but It's like that huge space behind the front wheel does nothing... 😂

First bike here too. just bought one from 1993 ran 71500 km. i cant wait to go ride it this summer. in this video though it doesnt have the pillion bar thats on the very end of the tail. i'd like to remove that. any way it can removed? anything else i need to worry about with this bike? i didnt get a service manual with my bike so i dont know when it needs service again.

Own a 1991, less than 30k miles. Ride it every summer. Fastest i have gotten it to was 148 ish (maybe 150?) but it was time to slow down lol. Sweet video!
