Torque settings
Oil Filtre = 26 Nm
Drain bolt = 30 Nm
Cup type oil filter wrench.
HC-65/14 W84-04181. 65mm or 64.7 mm. (Info on the pakkage).
All wrenches for 3/8”.

You stil have warranty? You can change your oil alone? I was thinking that you need to make revisions at honda

No warrenty anymore if you do the maintenance yourself. Buth normally its 2 years in belgium. This year, for new bought honda' s its 5 years, if you do every maintanance with honda, evere year or every 12.000km wich one is reached first. My warrenty period is passed, so for me it did not bother.

You can change oil alone, but there wil stay a little bit of old oil in the filter then.

Is the 10W-40 okay to use apart from the 10W-30 oil?

Hello, i used the motul 10W-40 because i always used it with my previous bike, the cbr600fa PC 41 from 2011. Buth indeed, the haynes (6461) also advices to use. Oil Type : API grade : SG or higher, JASO T 903 grade : MA Oil Viscosity : SAE 10W30 So the best thing is to use 10W30

@@JanSV I read and heard that full synthetic is good quality, man made oil so matching the same stats can I still use 10w-40 for my cbr650f 2017? And will it damage it? I’m looking for better quality compared to the 10w-30 semi synthetic oil

@@samuraiela1868 Whether you can use them on the cbr650f I dare not say. I do not know. Just know that the 10W40 full synthetic from motul is very good.
