The City RS hatch is very attractive and practical with its ULTR. I wish Honda would offer a variant that has a healthy 160mm-170mm ground clearance at the very least and with a clean flat underside configuration same as the Korean and German cars. I believe there's a large segment out there who are looking for daily practicality but with a bit of disaster resiliency without being forced to get a more expensive CUV/SUV and the higher maintenance cost it entails. Out here, family-oriented users still far outnumber racing-boys. Better yet Honda, bring the WR-V here please. Thank you.

3-weeks old city hatchback 2022 owner here boss. If I only found out right away before the release of the unit that the blowby was so bad when you removed the dip stick and engine oil cap of the engine I wouldn't have bought it, I would have just had an altis. The rear wheels are both misaligned. The bad thing is, all of the new units in the dealership are like that, the engine blowby is so strong and the rear tires are "sakang" or having a negative camber. Also, as a new owner, we are very careful and took care of the exterior's paint and plastic accents, but you can't imagine it happening in the casa because you're trusting them, the piano black plastic on the front of the hood obtained a lot of scratches since the mechanic did not put an engine bay cover or fender guard. Imagine a shiny 3-week old new unit that you brought in casa for early pms and you found out that it gained scratches after pms while at their service area. Tsk tsk Another alarming concern was the transmission jerk, or what they called it shift-shock in an automatic transmission. It occurs once in a while during deceleration when you're doing engine breaking, attaining low rpm and low speed at 30-40kph. Tsk tsk

Do I miss the Honda Jazz? Yes. Do I think this Honda Hatch RS have its own personality? Yes. Whatever way you look at it, they are both Hondas - practical, reliable and fun to drive. About the Honda Sedan, it's a personal choice, depending on your lifestyle and needs. For me, the Honda Hatch RS is good enough. Way to go!

I find the size of the rear tire a bit small for its body. Anyway it can be changed naman to a bigger size. Love it 🔥

This would be my choice years ago, but these days, crossover SUVs are better and with more tech and features, space, and higher ground clearance at the same or slightly higher price range than the City Hatchback.

How's the ground clearance on this car? Do you think the 134 mm is enough for most speed bumps and potholes? Please reply. I'm also planning to change the rims to 17s if I do get this car.

It is a tad low feeling but unless it's really bad ramps and inclines you're dealing with the City can handle most! 17s will also look handsome for sure!

Hello! Were considering this car. What may you suggest for a tyre upgrade since I do notice that the tyres are a bit skinny. Thank you.

Great question! The City Hatchback runs on 185/55/r16 tires which might not be as chunky as alot of people I know would hope for the car. I think this is a great discussion that can warrant its own video. General rule of thumb, you can fit up to 20mm more than stock so going for 205s on those r16 wheels shouldnt be much of a problem. Just keep in mind the since there's going to be more rolling resistance with more contact with the ground, fuel economy and comfort might be affected. :-)

What action Did honda do? And what dealership po kayo?

@@bader557 The casa service supervisor said they would give me honda's feedback by Monday (june20). It's already Friday that time so they only have Saturday to get the feedback, as expected I didn't received an update as promised so I decided to let it passed another week. And yesterday afternoon, I still haven't received an update from them so I called the Honda's main plant to express my concerns. I told them that if I still don't get feedback or explanations from Honda, DTI would be the next i'll approach. So CSR of main plant said let's follow up with the dealer. And then after an hour, the dealer called me and gave an update. But still nothing, just the same as we talked when I was there. So I said they need to give me a detailed explanation from honda, i emphasized that they should ask it from honda and not just from service mechanics. They should clearly explained why the car I bought had issues like that. Because if they can't provide that explanation from Honda, I will ask help from DTI to assist me in replacement or maybe i will just upgrade to CRV We as consumers should be informed that the vehicle has such issues before it is sold to us. That's why they have launching dates, they should also discuss those things there.

You can always install aftermarket products :-) but you have to ask your dealership if it will be affecting your warranty in any way.

Dealership can install a 2-eye or 4-eye rear sensor for P3k plus. 2-eye should suffice. That is if you can find a dealer with stock of CITY RS Hatchback. Thanks also to Zigwheel for this video review.

Like it dont love it, I guess. I still prefer my own Jazz RS, but at least Honda is sensible enough to not totally phase out subcompact hatchbacks and sedans, for an all out SUV/crossover lineup (as too many other car brands seem to be doing).
