Honda city is very different car, it has lots of space inside, with adequate power and supreme comfort, petrol is very very refined and diesel is milage king. Verna has cult and diesel only typ vehicle and it has better build quality. But i like honda city 5th gen more it comes with some unique features like lane watch camera, all windows one touch up and down

we have verna 2012 model crdi sx …. it has clock 224000 km’s …… still running smoothly … like a beast ….. on the highway i easily get mileage of around 24.5 …. no problem at all … just regular servicing and care is required … i just love verna diesel.

@@piyushchandane3223 Honda City in diesel give around 27-28KMPL on highways when cruising on 80-100KMPH. Sold mine did 3Lakh+ on odo the only negative was less power in diesel and engine noise. Its far better in space,maintenance etc. Got videos of getting 33-35KMPL (with full tank and again refilling after 60KMs and after 250KMs) cruising on 80KMPH with 2 guys. Was going for new city only but even base model was out of budget.

My thoughts after watching this video. I drive 1.6 Vento TDI. I do travel with 4-5 people in car for shoots and even have to travel for longer distances like 500-700kms in 2 days or so. Vento comfortable bhi hai bahut, peeche space and comfort bhi hai and boot space bhi. Toh Verna mein agar space bhi kam hai and comfortable bhi nahi hai zyaada toh I think mere liye ye gaadi nahi hai. Toh it’s totally right, End user ko apni needs ka pta hona chahiye. Har gaadi har kisi k liye best nahi hoti. Apni samajh se apni need k according gaadi choose krein. Thank you.

Verna is plagued by clutch plate assembly problems, disc pads running out quickly, all essential spare parts wear out earlier than the competition, pathetic rear seat space, engine becomes very noisy after 40-50k km, enthusiastic drivers have also reported turbo failures at just 60-70k km, steering is artificial which makes the handling pathetic at above 80km/he, steering motor also makes noise after a few years. And above all the petrol version is a gas guzzler.. Verna is good for only interior plastic quality and looks no doubt hands down

Yes you can, but you need to sacrifice boot space, all need extra work on rare suspensions for extra load of CNG tank and gas.

I once drove Hyundai sonata's newest model back in 2014 on Sheikh Zayed Road..I was out of my mind..what a class. Just like a Mercedes. The driving pleasure was so smooth and full of luxury..All the while I remember that it was a long aero dynamic car with beautiful interiors. Even Hyundai Elantra 2015-16 modern was awesomel to drive. Other than Toyota Avalon, Honda Civic 10th Gen and Nissan Maxima, I have always preferred Hyundai over Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Kia (in sedans that is)

I really wanted to buy Verna, but booked 1.0 Slavia instead after driving it for a few times. I still can't get Verna out of my mind coz teenager me really loved the looks of the Verna back then and it still is a beauty right now, but Slavia is a more logical pratical purchase right now in my opinion(or even City). Slavia does almost everything better than Hyundai Verna like ride, handling, build quality, performance, interiors and so on. I was sold on Verna until i drove Slavia. Also what do you think, isn't Verna facelift outdated in 2022? Considering 5-6 months waiting should i say 2023? I am pretty sure Hyundai will launch the new Verna soon and it will again dominate the market like nothing else. Also petrol Verna is just only mediocre. It is the Diesel which got the kick, but being from Delhi-NCR who keeps his cars for average 10-12 years Diesel is out of question and petrol of Slavia and city are unmatchable. My only gripe with Slavia was that it doesn't come in black color which i really wanted to own this time. What do you think?

Go for City, it has lot lot more status Value, reliable and ride is better. Also keep in mind that the fuel prices are surging City will hold itself. After 2 months of RND I have shortlisted the City and XL6 cheaper and economical on fuel then Slavia.
