After skipping a generation and making us wait for six long years, Honda will reintroduce the Civic nameplate to India. Honda’s big sedan will rival the likes of the Octavia, Elantra and Corolla Altis. Here’s our detailed full review in Hindi of the 2019 Honda Civic.
Honda Civic 2019 Price and Variants:
Expected to be priced between Rs 17 lakh and Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom), the Civic will be offered in three variants. Notably, both a petrol and diesel engine will be made available.
New Honda Civic Features:
2019 Honda Civic feature includes dual-zone climate control, leather upholstery, powered driver’s seat, and Honda LaneWatch. You also get a 7-inch digital driver display, and a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Features such as full-LED headlamps, 17-inch alloy wheels and LED brake lamps are also offered. Honda Civic safety features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, and four disc brakes, all offered as standard.
2019 Honda Civic Colours:
Honda Civic colour options are - Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic & Golden Brown Metallic
Honda Civic Performance:
Honda will offer a diesel engine for the first time in a Civic. This is the same 1.6-litre (120PS/300Nm) engine we’ve seen in the CR-V. But, it’s paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The petrol engine is a 1.8-litre unit that makes 141PS of power and 174Nm of torque. This engine isn’t available with a manual, and can be had with a CVT only.

Hey bro nice review. I have driven SUVs/Compact SUVs only since > 10 years. I'm 6 Feet Tall, I am only concerned about one thing. To get in and out (Ingress & Egress) of the car. Will it be a problem or uncomfortable to me? I'm not personally a big fan of Low seated cars, even driver seats for that matter. Pls suggest!

+Chinar Trivedi As per your height, Civic would not be a better option to consider, the seating position is familiarly low. If you aren’t used to a low-seating car, you will need a few drives in the Civic before you’re entirely comfortable with the dimensions. Also, the front seats feel narrow. Broader occupants will feel a lack of support for their shoulders. The flat seat base robs you of valuable under-thigh support, forcing you to sit in a ‘knees up’ position. This isn’t much of a bother for the driver as the seat height can be adjusted to mitigate this issue. But the co-driver will most definitely feel the pinch, especially over a long journey. The option is to push the seat all the way back and stretch out. At the rear, the issue with the low slung seating position is amplified because the door doesn’t open too wide. To get in, you end up putting a fair bit of pressure on your knee. And getting out too requires a bit of effort. Those considering the Civic for the elderly members in their family, please note the rear seat of the Honda isn’t generous in terms of space. Also, if you’re taller than 6 you’ll feel a bit too close to the roof. Moreover, do take the test drive of the car in order to clear all your doubts.

@@cardekho Guess what? I am going for this. I went ahead and bought this. Can't wait for the delivery date now. This was the first Review I saw in KZbin on Honda Civic 2019. This car is a winner. I experienced it after a Test Drive for an Hour, and No other car looks sportier & sexier (elegant too at the same time) in this price segment like Generation 10 Honda Civic 2019. Just waiting patiently now till I get my hands on this beauty. And so Long SUVs or Compact SUVs. This car changed my whole perception of sticking with SUVs or Compact SUVs. This Car is a Head-Turner for sure... Compact SUVs is so 2013ish... haha Cheers bro!

Anchor is best, old honda civic dash board is better than new one infact in most of the aspects old one is better. Ofcourse new car has a more electronic features. Price seems too high.

i took a test drive of petrol ..it is a relaxed cruiser. but it cant match up to the heartbeat of skoda octavia and overtaking octavia civic needs a lot of brain too. but skoda fails miserably in after sales department. trump card for honda will be service.

Honda Civic Diesel kaafi achchha option hai. Iski power aur engine tuning aapko kaafi smoth driving experience deti hai aur highways pe ise lambe time tak bhi 100-120kmph ki speed pe aaraam se chala sakte hai. Lekin abhi agar new car market ki baat ki jaye to Honda Civic sirf petrol fuel type ke saath available hai.
