Big respect, anyone thats willing to learn and turn wrenches is a true enthusiast in my book. Anyone with money can write a check for a cool car, it takes dedication to build something truly your own.

Big unk you inspired me ! I bought a dc4 that wouldn’t go into gear . I’ve swapped the master and slave cylinder fast idle thermo valve , short shifter , brakes suspension fuel pump etc and I wouldn’t sell my car for nothing . I like being able to fix my car without having to lift the car which I think is the most valuable aspect of these 90’s Hondas . Keep on keeping on OG 🫡

Just got another sub, clean ass car. I never been a Honda guy but I recently had to pull the trigger on a 95 integra rs and have the itch now. Can’t wait to build my b series

Thanks! It will be a fun build!

I’ve always loved that body style. Very nice looking cars. It also helps that I had a huge crush on a beautiful blond girl who drove a grey one. ❤️

My first car was a hand me down 89 4dr similar to this one (a LX). These cars a simple, easy to work on (very easy to work on)- easy to tune, easy to mod, double wishbone suspension front and rear - they handle very well - shoot most performance cars nowadays (including honda's) are using macpherson struts instead - double wishbones are far superior. The only civic i'd consider over an EF is a 92-95 (which was the peak in my opinion). This video bought back so many memories. In my 94 hatch i went through 4 or 5 different engine swaps. You can literally take apart the entire car with a 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 17mm, 22mm, 24mm and a 32mm socket/ratchet set/wrenches. They are stupid easy to work on - and incredibly easy to tune. I wish they still made them like this.

Nice video! This is what cars should be like. Makes it your own, kinda like a pet. "There are many but this is mine." Now everything has to go to the Matrix to get fixed.

hell yeah -- my brother had a 91 hatch with b16 swap ~2002. Had an '88 CRX myself. Those chassis were and still are awesome. One of my best friends had a manual '87 Civic sedan, which he would let me practicing driving in. That thing had no power, but was still super fun in a unique way. Thanks for sharing!

I'm a hardcore VW cult member . Drove mk1/2's from the 90's till 2019 then the prices went wild and I got into mk4 TDI's. I get more people stopping me in parking lots and waving going down the road in my rat rod golf then I ever have. Gotta say I'm not a fan of any modern vw or Honda but your car is Dope !!!!! ✌️...I did have a 91 hatchback and that was a fun car 😉

Man, I lost my 2013 civic si coup. It had the hfp package. Honestly one of the best Honda I have ever owned. The engine that was in my SI would turn your Honda into a sleeper without the turbo.

Vw's too...I hated going to the junk yard and seeing mk1's ready for the crusher. That was some lame $#!+

Never thought about that... I bet you're right! Can you imagine how many B Series were crushed? Probably the main reason why they are hard to find now.

Great channel Unc! Looking good and I agree with everything you said. There’s an ef sedan for sale on fb that I’ve been looking at. After seeing yours it makes me wonder if I even need a new type R or just get the ef and put about $10k into refreshing everything, since it would be my daily (not rich just dreaming out loud)
@time2hondaАй бұрын
$10k in one of these is damn near show car quality with no car note!!
