Rubbing is racing.. To be fair the ef was holding him up and intentionally swerving to block him... Was so glad when he got passed. Probably would have come 2nd if it wasn't for the ef...

Good driving by little blue Honda, you can tell this car was a bit under-powered compared to the yellow one he overtook earlier. Also, bit of a dick move by the driver of red Honda. You are allowed to defend your racing line, however, as far as I'm aware (from my time behind the wheel) you aren't permitted to zig-zag, cross track block. That's at the very least a time penalty if track officials see you. Don't know what rules are like in this repect in Japan, but I imagine they're the same or similar. Good clean, smooth footage!

Loving the sound and the racing but getting distracted by the driver feeding the wheel through his hands 😅
@quest87952 жыл бұрын
Has to be done sometimes, you have to wind on quite a lot of steering angle with FF cars to get them to turn in sometimes
@motojojo_2 жыл бұрын
@@quest8795 Spent vast majority of my time on track in FF cars, only time I've been close to moving my hands on the wheel was hairpin on Rockingham National (UK track) which was a pretty tight 180 (3 turns L2L steering rack)
@JesseStreeter2 жыл бұрын
@@motojojo_ I think I tend to over drive the car and get into slides a lot more than I should. Coming from mountains and drifting I feel a lot more comfortable with my arms not all crossed up and being able to react more quickly with quick input in either direction. Sorry if it was distracting!
@motojojo_2 жыл бұрын
@@JesseStreeter ah no worries, we all over drive at some point, everyone's human. As for the steering, did think it may be from drifting (hardest thing for me on my first drift session was letting go of the steering wheel 😅). Not moving your hands on the steering may give you a bit more granular control which might help avoid slides (you feel it happening through the wheel). But if it's too weird then it's not worth it, comfortable driver is a faster driver.
