Hello from Illinois! I have an FL5 as well. Your car looks great! I just ordered the OEM carbon wing like your car has. I think its one of my favorites. The original wing is a little dull, and I think the factory carbon wing looks a bit more aggressive without being over the top like a big GT wing. Other than the wing, it's hard to find a complaint. Maybe someday in the future I'd like a Spoon or Tomei exhaust. I am also tempted to try swapping the adaptive damper module from the Integra Type S for a bit more comfort on long trips. Thank you for your comment! It’s great to hear from an FL5 owner in Illinois. You’re absolutely right-the OEM carbon wing is subtly aggressive and looks amazing without being too flashy! I especially love how the end plates look through the side mirrors while driving. I haven’t heard of anyone in Japan trying the Type S damper module yet. If you decide to give it a shot, I’d love to hear your thoughts! I’m planning to attend the Tokyo Auto Salon 2025 next year, so I’ll do my best to capture as much footage of FL5-related parts as possible and share it. If there’s anything specific you’d like to see, let me know!

I have seen a few people do the damper module from the Integra especially where there are rough roads, since the system is identical between the Integra and Type R. It isn't that expensive of a part versus getting a whole new suspension setup. From what I've been told it makes +R feel like the sport setting and the sport setting feel like comfort, and the comfort is softer than the existing comfort. I've seen some people say the suspension is too hard but while it might be a bit stiff on a rough road it isn't uncomfortable. My family gets car sick easy and the Type R does good a lot better than some cars not making them feel ill in the car. Can't wait to see your video from auto salon this year! It's great to see all the new parts from the famous aftermarket companies come out. It's nice to have a car that is so well supported in the aftermarket; it almost gets hard to choose parts!

@@YellowjacketSA Thank you for the detailed info about the Integra’s damper module! It sounds like a great option for improving passenger comfort. That said, I really enjoy driving alone early in the morning on winding mountain roads in +R mode, so I think the stock Type R setup works well for me. And yes, the sheer number of aftermarket parts for the FL5 is incredible-it’s part of what makes owning this car so much fun. I’m sure even more options will pop up in the future. Let’s keep exchanging ideas and enjoying everything this car has to offer!

Thanks for the comment! I just looked it up online and it says, "Removing the airbag itself is not illegal, so it can be replaced." Yes, the Mugen package was great! Personally, I wanted the Carbon Aero Fenders.

Greetings from Canada! I am actually a DE5 owner, but it's very interesting to see what mechanical aftermarket parts are available. Have you asked Spoon for Hondata ECU tuning as a comparison to J's racing? It is a very popular ECU tuning option in North America.

Thanks for your comment from Canada! The DE5 is great, I like the rear design, although I've never seen one in person as they are not sold in Japan. I have not requested a quote for Hondata's ECU, but I believe the price in Japan is about the same as J's racing and the performance is about the same. Personally, I've been waiting for the SEEKER ECU for a long time as it's my main choice, but it's not on sale yet.

Thanks for the comment! I love the design of the front lip on that demo car, which reminds me of the front lip that SPOON had on the Integra (DC2). I heard from SPOON staff last year that they are planning to sell it in carbon, but I hope they will also sell it in FRP gloss black.
