Thanks for the video, one of the very few real world riding video out there Ordered one a week ago, the sells rep said I should get mine around august or september Seems more than fast enough for me, over here in my country motorcycle are not allowed on highway, so anything above 110kph is more than enough

@@JasonSmith-uo7br this is actually a lot more common than you may think, many Asian countries with a huge motorcycle population don't allow or have heavy restrictions on motorcycle on highway(like China with over 90 million motorcycle, Vietnam with 45 million,Thailand with 22 million, or my country Taiwan with 16 million just to name a few) i think it roughly add up to a bit more than 1/2 of the global motorcycle numbers are in countries that don't allow motorcycle to get on highway So we just stay on local road and a few high-speed "express way",not great and not really fare to be honest, riders in my country had been fighting our government for a system similar to Japan for over 20 years now

I think has a Limit from Honda 98 mph same Engine in Honda Rebel Limit 98 mph, Rebel 1100cc 98 mph, quick enough, but for a 1100cc Bike can give more, I like this CL 500 looks very good in blue

Have you been in an area where you can constantly ride at 120 kph /70 mph ? Does the bike seem to be reving too high at that speed? Or is it fine at such speeds?

2hr test ride today, did 7 miles on a 70mph road - brand new so kept it at about 75, no vibrations and lovely and stable and clearly more left in the throttle. Test mule had the small light cowl which kept some of the wind off, although I am only short, might not be so good for a taller rider.

My CL500 feels stable at 120 kmph, i usually don't go faster than that, at +/- top speed of 150 kmph there's no uncomfortable vibrations, but without windshield it's just not comfortable because of the wind to your body. It's light bike so i would not enjoy riding it for hours at highway speeds (it's not really unstable, but you feel it being affected by wind a little) but if I had to, I would do this without second thought. Maneverability and line splitting in city is amazing, it's really narrow bike and fits between cars nicely. It's my first bike and I can't compare it to others, but I really can't complain after ~3000 kms. I tried the honda rebel 500 and did not like it. CL500 feels much more spacious nimble and comfortable than rebel. But if you're shorter than me (I'm 183 cm) and rebel's size is no problem, it may be a little bit more comfortable. With lower center of gravity it feels a bit more planted to the road.

Καλησπέρα Μάκη, Θα προτιμούσα να μην μπώ. Εξαρτάται βέβαια πως εννοεί τον βατό χωματόδρομο κάποιος. Σίγουρα με το CB θα είσαι πιο άνετος.

My CL500 goes up to 150 kmph comfortably (i mean without changing normal riding position and trying to squeeze every last bit of speed. I'm 183 cm high and weigh 94 kg). The bike is light and with no windshield it's not comfortable going at that speed, so for me the answer to the question "what's top speed of CL500" is "it's enough".

I have been riding 40 years, just ordered one, fast enough to lose your licence, superlight clutch, 2hr test ride was perfect for fast roads, even better for city and back lanes, and great economy, although I do like smaller lighter bikes in general, this replaces my MT03 - keeping my CBR600 for track.

Αδελφέ καλησπέρα. Σε 2 μήνες περίπου παίρνω το δίπλωμα, και σκέφτομαι για πρώτη μηχανή να πάρω είτε το cl500 ή το Rebel. Ίδια μηχανή, απλά κολλάω στο στυλ και τι θα ήταν καλύτερο για αρχή. Ποια προτείνεις από τις 2(ή και κάποια άλλη ίσως)? Ευχαριστώ εκ των προτέρων.

Everybody complains about the brightness of LCD. Don't you know if this is the maximum level? I see you was tried to set something before the ride.

I was wondering about this before getting CL500, too. Turns out everyone's not lying :) You can't see shit in bright sun or rain (well you can, but it takes some concentration and I'd rather focus on the road). It comes at max brightness as the default setting, the option to set it even dimmer is useless. That said, there's not much info on the LCD anyway and all I check for is which gear I'm in approaching a traffic light so I can count them down in my head when slowing down.

Φίλε έχε υπόψη σου ότι η διαφορά στη σχετική ταχύτητα με άλλα οχήματα αν είναι πάνω από 20-25 km/h, ο άλλος δε μπορεί να σε αντιληφθεί. Άρα, σφήνα σε σταματημένα πας με 20-25 για να μπορεί να σε δει και να αντιδράσει ο άλλος. Είναι περιορισμός στην αντίληψη της όρασής μας.
