Unbelievable engineering for the time. Well worth a visit. Used to do work with Parsons Chain back in the 80's. Thanks for the memories.

Thanks Simon , my dad was at Parsons at that time in the test house , he always used to say about the noise when a chain failed ... his ears rang for days !

My last visit was around 30 years ago!! 🤔 where has the time gong? now you have inspired me to visit. the area not too far from Derby, most of which I have learnt from either the Severn Valley Railway or HGV's along the main routes. I must admit dropping down from Ludlow to Tenbury Wells Tescos stores was & is a favourite route even in a 44t HGV! I will now aim for said that area just exploy on my next rest days!
