This 2.4l i4 cyl v-tec is one of the best, everyday car engines ever. I have the J35 3.5l V6 v-tec but it's electronically limited to 114 mph, sadly.

Remember, 200 on the speedo is not 200 on gps. The actual speed is likely around 180.

@@tonkis4812 So does my E36 316i...however owning 2 BMWs (E36 316i and E90 320i) and a Honda, I can honestly say bmw needs to go back to school, Honda can easily teach them a good couple of things about making a car. My father has toyota corolla and hond crv like in the video but manual and with leather saloon. I bought e46 320i with leather saloon. Our CRV is 2011 and the E46 is 1999. Seats in the beamer are like brand new (just dirty) and seats in the CRV look like they passed 2 wars. BMW's interior is ordered, massive and made with high quality materials. Crv's interior is made of low end quality plastic (so does the corolla). BMW is much better not only than Honda, its better than all Japanese cars (shitboxes). Yes Japanese cars are more reliable but its because they've been drivven by 40+ year-old people. There isnt a ride with BMW without at least 10 timese engine passing the redline and drift almost every roundabout or turn.

It should, but all in all depends in the gearing ratios, I have the 2.0 150hp and did more than 150, didn't try more. Your's being the 2.4 168hp it should do more, but even if it doesn't it's not a car to run at 200kph 🤣

Mine clocked 200’000km without major breakdown. Fuel consumption around 9km/ltr hilly area and 12-13km/liter on flat. R20 engine won’t accelerate quick with loads. Trunk’s spacious, it’s a CRV.

This car has barn aerodynamics. I had the same model but with manual gearbox. This car has never exceeded 200km/h even on an empty highway, downhill and with a strong tailwind.The maximum speed is 195 km/h. But it has other advantages - for example, that for 15 years it has not had any breakdown. And the acceleration of this car? - you can forget about it. 🙂 There is acceleration at all 🙂

I can't speak for the AT tranny, but I have the manual 5spd 2.0 petrol and it runs perfectly fine and the gear ratios are good for what it is, it has plenty of space, it's easy to drive and comfortable. It's a good everyday/jack of all trades car
