Obviously hard to judge only from video, but honestly - the OEM exhaust sounds great already and the LeoVince feels almost like a downgrade... Looks good though.

Stock exhaust is well configured for Africa Twin and it's hard to find the good aftermarket. Most of them brings just another irritating sound, much sharper but far from noble deep sound as this bike deserve for.

Not a great deal of difference in the exhaust note, but the Leo vince is a great looking exhaust.

Yes, there is little difference. The Euro5 standard greatly limits the level of noise allowed. If these images were recorded inside a garage, the sound would naturally become fuller. This gave wrong perception. I was careful to do it outdoors.

@@fakir2011 Dont blame euro 5. It has nothing to do with the sound level. The sound difference between euro 4 and 5 is almost nothing.

gotta love how people must have bad sound systems to not hear how much better the leovince sounds. I have an audio card feeding into a pre-amp vacuum tube to a high end DT Pro 770 250ohm. Leo sounds SO much GRUMBLIER(better)

can you elaborate on that please? Is the sound not realistic of the Leo on this video? Thinking about buying the Leovince and replace the stock exhaust on my NT1100. Should be similar to the Africa Twin I think. You have an Africa twin and this Leovince slip-on? have you removed the db-killer? For my it is only relevant with db-killer for insurance reasons ... thanks

@@marcelmuller7623 it's the speaker in your phone! Try it on a tv or decent sound system! I love the stock sound, but it's only gnarly after 4000rpm! I've got a Leo vince silencer, yet to be fitted, but I'm hopeful I get a nice louder burble from tickover!? I'll let you know after the 27th this mth😎

Para mí, vale la pena. El hecho de que se haya salido la válvula de escape, el motor se desarrolla mucho mejor!

I didn't remove the DB Killer. I've seen videos on KZbin showing how to remove the DB Killer on this model.

Yes, it is the European model. DB Killer is a soldier. It is possible to remove it, but I will not do it.

The “best bang for your buck” that I ever found with all my chain drive trail bikes was a bigger rear sprocket 👍 Top speed was never an issue for me but the increase in acceleration with lower final gearing was a hoot. 😁
