Sweet bike. Combined with a Harley you have a really nice setup for street / offroad fun.

That was a great clarkson impression in the beginning

A co-worker got that same bike. It's very good out in rural AZ on the dirt roads and some off road, but not good for things that require speed. he said it gets tough where the speed limit is 65 or more, but it works well on trails and gravel roads.

Great review Alf, I understand its a demo bike so you could not use it in anger off road. I don't have Green lanes in my area unfortunately so it would be limited to lanes and back road use. Still want one as an alternative/second bike ( 4th actualy LOL) Could be some deals on the 250cc as there is a 300cc due 2021, and it is December.

Good call! Yes I think so too. The great thing in this bike for me is that it is very easy riding, very long service intervals and is half way capable off road if you can find some to ride, so it ticks many boxes. Cheers

Hi mate, had one of those and loved it..it was indestructible and totally reliable and much fun. I’d hold off and nab the new 300 out soon which is also lighter and more powerful. Kind regards.

I have the 2018 250 rally & I love it I'm not even considering upgrading to the 300 no matter how good everybody says it is. The suspension is still too soft like the 250 it's a little quicker but not fast enough for the highway especially in Phoenix cars literally drive 75-85 mph no problem. My bike sprockets are completely stock I just have a 550 performance ECU tune n' slip on exhaust & 70/30 tires more towards street tires. On GPS 🏍️💨 did 75 & the dash said 77 lol... My dumbass forgot to check what RPM I was at if I held it longer I probably could have got 78-80 going down sum little hills haha but I don't like revving my motor so long like that 🤷🏻 I prefer the rally because of the windscreen little more stable because of the weight bigger fuel tank and it just looks a little more upscale plus those headlights are sooo bright 🌞 nice ass review i enjoyed it with the wife, usually she doesn't watch this shit with me but for some reason your video she did 👍👍

When I first got the bike I had 172 mi on it & I got it about 8 months ago & I've done 3 oil changes & have 2,600 miles on the bike I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't having any excessive metal in the oil everything looks very good I put a magnetic drain plug 1st oil change had some shit on it had about 600 miles on that oil the last oil change I did 1000 miles conventional oil much less stuff on the magnetic drain plug oil still looked very clean that came out so now I'm running the Honda FULL synthetic 10w30 I know it says 8K but (hell no) I'll probably change it about 3,000 miles 👍👍

I'm thinking to buy a CRF 250 M for commuting to work year round, but unsure about the reliability of tubed tyres. Are they more likely to cause puncture problems than tubeless tyres?
@RevelatorAlf3 жыл бұрын
Tubes tyres are fine so I wouldn’t let that stop you to be fair

Yes great options but you're right, they are suited to certain types of riding so I'm trying to find the best option for me...if I ever do. Much more research to be done ha ha
@sathishrao79263 жыл бұрын
If light off-road focused bikes are what you’re looking for, I’m not sure the reason you rode those Heavy tourers just before this one 🤔 Secondly why a 250 if you can go for a 300 ? Eg., new KLX 300 ( since you’re not probably going to get CRF 300 in the UK )
