This is my exact setup for the last year, and can confirm it works great! I’ve done several camping trips and it’s been awesome

Glad to hear it!

Great set up. The Rally’s front racks & GL Possibles bags look like a “possible” fit as well. 😊

I'm kind of slow at times but, aside from it being an awesome bike, it just occurred to me that picking the Rally might be good for your personal channel considering how popular they are. 😅 Anyway, I'm not sure why I'm watching this, but your tips on setting the Diablo up on the cb500x was a big help. Keep up the good work!

Hey Ben looks like a great setup.. what I’d like to see a video on is how to get on your bike when all that luggage is in the rear (I.e. are you standing on the foot pegs and swinging your leg over while the kickstand is down?.., are you rolling along and mounting the motorcycle that way?).. maybe some ideas for some of us who’ve never tried getting on the bike and has luggage mounted on it.. thank you sir keep up the good work!

Good idea! I usually stand on the peg and swing over or do the old "throw my leg over the seat like a front kick" maneuver.

Not to be contrarian, but if you have a rear rack, why do you need this? I have a rear rack (no sides) on two bikes and I use a 44L ____ brand Dry Duffel. It is 44 liters (larger) and $392.01 less expensive. I guess this is for the non-rack rider.

Duffles are ok. If one carries all the weight there, it risks to make the bike “top heavy”. With the saddlebag instead it s easy to distribute the heavy weight below and carry the light stuff at the back.

How do you like those crash bars, and do they actually do their job in a drop? If you do like them where can I get them? Second thing, what suspension set up do you have, and do you like it?

I have a concern about tank bags. How are they when it comes to scratches? The rally, having a metal tank worries me to put any tank bag on top of it. Obviously, dirt and dust under it will cause scratches, but do you have to worry about the bag itself causing scuffs or scratches?

Hello. We sell a transparent vinyl to put on top of your tank to protect it from scracthes and friction in general. Unfortunately it's unavoidable to have some sort of rubbing with vibrations and bumps on the ride. The vinyl works great in protecting your fairings and tank from any abrasions caused by our products. Check it out!

Question?, How do you get to the fuel cap quickly? It wasn't shown on the video, unfortunately.
@thegreatmoa2 жыл бұрын
There's a zipper along the base of the tank bag, which lets you tip it to the side and access the cap. The base of the harness is U-shaped and, if you set it up right, the cap should be able to be accessed through the gap. There are pictures on the giant loop site if I haven't explained it well

You can see all the features of the Diablo in the Diablo product video. The Zippered access to the gas cap is demonstrated at 0:42 in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHyYooeEfp2MftU

The beavertail straps on my Coyote are really long, any advice on how to store them or cut them safely?
@GiantLoopMoto2 жыл бұрын
I always just double or triple them up and store them under the elastic keepers. Check out what I mean at 2:00 in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mp3LZ5eoqLeYnbs

60L it's a tone off luggage. This is not adventure. This is move home location. Just my opinion.

You don't have to run it all, obvs, but we wanted to show as many options as possible.
