I have just received my Yoshimura full system but I dont have a ECU for it yet .Power commander 5 won't be ready for another 4 weeks they have told me.I love the upgrades that you have done so far

Just got a UK Rally. certainly needs the suspension sorting as a priority . The rest can wait until it breaks

Go for a Hagon shock. They will custom build it to your weight & riding needs. Costs c£325. Saw a video from another KZbinr & he was delighted. Terry Tibbs? Talk to me about ladders! 😄

I installed handguards on my 300l using the M6 theaded inserts that are there. I didnt drill them out to M8. I'm gonna test it out see how hard it is to snap off the bolts being M6 instead of M8.

We almost did that same thing, and even sourced the M6 bolts, hoping to offer them to customers as part of the handguard package. But after installing them we just didn't trust those smaller bolts. They will probably work fine, but as a business, we just didn't want to take the chance.

Great video. What would be the advantage of changing the chain guide? Is the stock one a problem or is it just for looks? Does Zeta make a metal oil filler plug? The plastic one is kind of crappy.

Chain guide? Yes, mainly looks for sure. But the rubber Zeta uses inside is probably higher quality, so probably lasts longer, and replacements are readily available. And yes they do make an oil filler plug, but they're on backorder. Some of these smaller bits are very difficult to get right now.

Ya, the front brake line was blocking the dash on our bike. I tied a string to it, pulled it forward out of the way, and tied the string up over the headlight and attached to the front reflector.... and left it like that for a few days sitting in the shop, and now it seems to have retained that angle and now it's out of the way.

I rotated the bars forward (fits me better), and that moved the brake line above the display. Bonus! :-)

I would also like to learn more about the fuel controllers .Are there any better ones I should be looking at .I am looking at the power commander 5 and I see there is the EJK fuel injection controller .Thoughts ?

Yes, we have the EJK's in stock, which Dobeck Performance says will work with the CRF300L with aftermarket exhaust. We haven't installed one yet though, so I don't have first hand experience. Our Yoshi pipe is on the way to us, so we will hopefully get one installed soon.

Could you mount the tank bag further forward over the fuel cap?

You could, I guess. But where we have it mounted, it's completely out of the way, and doesn't interfere while moving around on the bike.

How much can you fit in that tank bag? Will it hold cell phone, keys, wallet?

Yes, you can fit all of that stuff. It's 7x4x5 in size. Has a waterproof clear top you can put a smart phone in. It won't hold as much as something like a Wolfman Enduro, but I prefer it just because it's not in my way when moving around on the bike.

Suspension? That is the biggest issue on the 300L

Yep, it's on our list, but I'm not sure there is anything available yet. Race Tech doesn't seem to list anything yet for the 300L, but will have something soon I'm sure.
