Very good video. I like the way you edited the presentation and kept the instruction going without any flat spots.

I fitted a Hyperpro progressive spring to my rear damper about a year ago. It sure helps maintain a decent ride height with my 205lbs sat on it. Have the fork spring and oil to match but haven't gotten round to fitying those yet. I packed the linkage bearings with grease when i was in there. I'll get the swing arm bearings greased when i replace the chain and sprockets. Thanks for sharing.👍

I have race tech full system minus the reservoir.They did all the work I live near them just dropped off the bike $1600.00 otd. works great whoops and jumps no problem. Raises the seat height before I was flat footed now I'm on the balls of my feet. Sometimes I miss the cushy ride and low seat height

Greetings Mr Woodzman, As always another fantastic detailed video 🇺🇸🍾🎉🇺🇸 Do you think if I leave that wide spacer off would lower the the rear of the motorcycle? (What are your thoughts) Thank you so much for assisting me and keep producing more videos about the CRF.
@WOODZMAN8 ай бұрын
It may but I think it would be best if you just back the spanner nuts off
@marcelhorisberger92563 ай бұрын
I like to try just to add a big spacer to my original shock, I’m only weighing 70 KG

That could work

Hi. Thank you very much for the video. Have you experienced any "pogoing" from the Race Tech rear spring? I'm torn between Ohlins rear shock and front springs or Race Tech rear spring only and Race Tech front spring.
@WOODZMAN2 ай бұрын
Yea I can tell you that if you go with the spring only, the stock shock is not valved for the heavy spring and it does do some pogoing. An Ohlins rear shock is extremely expensive but would be much better
@mitchwiebell27852 ай бұрын
@@WOODZMAN I was afraid you were going to say that! Ha! Hard to justify putting $1K+ for the Ohlins on this bike. Thank you for your quick reply!

@mitchwiebell2785 well the spring made a huge difference for me but I really don’t ride fast anymore and I’m ok with it

I have the same bike and I’m a similar weight. I ride pretty aggressively, should I get the same spring rate at 10.5kg or the 12.5kg. I don’t know anything about suspensions and I’m looking for a cheap upgrade lol thanks
@WOODZMAN5 ай бұрын
The 10.5 is a huge difference, I’m not sure about the 12.5

Where did you get that nice little trailer?
@WOODZMAN Жыл бұрын
I bought it in Missouri before we moved to AZ. It’s my motorcycle garage now
@jpsadventures9864 Жыл бұрын
Cool. I'm on the fence about choosing a trailer or a hitch mount for hauling my rally.
@WOODZMAN Жыл бұрын
@jpsadventures9864 I have both, the hitch rack I am selling. The trailer is nice because I can haul 3 bikes
@Splintermill Жыл бұрын
Go hitch mount if your vehicle won’t mind it. I haul my rally on one behind my dually and it’s super nice to be compact. I’ve got a big enclosed trailer, maybe someday I’ll pack it full and head out west for a few weeks, but until then it’s pretty sweet to load on the hitch and go. Ride safe!!

It is an easy upgrade for what I needed and sound like the same for you, I love it, I just wanted it to hold up more weight and it does a great job of that
