Thank You so much for your insiteful video. I'm going through a recall process currently with Honda and am hoping they can get it resolved or worse case a buyback of the vehicle as this can be a road hazard that I do not want to experience. 👍😀✌ Mine is a 2007 Honda CRV All Wheel Drive.

Thanks for the video, my only comment would be is to give some wider shots so that we can see the context of what you are doing. All the closeups are cool but if all you are looking at is a bolt and rusty bits it gets confusing.

ya might want to tell the owner ther is a recall on 2007-2011 Honda CRV's for the trailing arm.....they can get reimbursed.....I have a 2007 going in shortly for the issue....

@ 3:15 those are the two bolts they take off for the recall "test" if the bolts spin freely they will total your car and give you money for it. I got my 2011's service scheudled and considering the rust on this thing and you were able to get a trailing arm abck on there, my hopes are def up. Mines rusty but this one is on another level entirely.

I have a 2006 and the driver-s side spot welded nuts ripped right out of the sub frame. Wondering why Honda didnt include the 2006 in the recall? Other than this trailing arm issue, my car is in great shape.

I had to go in for the recall but my car failed the inspection and the front right trailing arm bolt spins freely. So now I have to wait for Honda to give me money for my car

@@yahirhuerta-salas9524 The technician will check the bolts located at 2:34 of this video. Their is a captive nut within the body of the vehicle (not seen). The idea is, if the bolt freely spins without actually loosening (due to terrible rust conditions), the vehicle then fails the recall and Honda will offer you compensation.
