Avoid coming into contact with used engine oil & dispose of old oil responsibly. The engine should be warm, no need for hot. Obvious yes, but the world we live in these days, dictates statements such as this. Elvis & Priscilla the Muscovy ducks think it's very funny as they watch me trying to work in the rain. Thanks for watching.

Best postie channel in existence. A man and his Honda and the value of good maintenance. Old school values. It's a beautiful thing.

Iv got 2 bikes the FJR 1300 for long distances and my very reliable Honda CB 125E with 25000 KMs it's a fantastic little bike iv seen a few with 80 KMs and so cheap to run

Thanks Susan for watching & commenting. You've got both ends of the bike market there! The FJR would definately eat up the kms. A pity govt regs (dual abs) killed off the CB125E & the CT125. I never understood why the CT125 was over double the price of the CB.

Hmm, my third try posting comments. Thanks for positing, and i noted that the previous owner (of my CT90) stripped my oil drain plug. You can buy a self-tapping slightly oversized drain plug (12.1MM for the CT90) that was a life saver. Speaking of issues - I'm concerned that my generator/stator may have failed, but I'm not sure how to test it out. (I replaced the rectifier about a year ago so I think it is good). My battery died, so I decided to try a LiPO battery. My bike just died at a stop sign. I hauled the big home, and at first the battery showed 0V, then after about 1 hour, it showed about 5.2V. Anyway, I'm concerned it is not charging. So video idea - how to test the charging system. In particular, how to test the stater and how to replace it if it is bad. Cheers and hopefully this comment posts.

That's strange your comments not posting. I helicoiled my drain plug, but an oversize plug is a better idea. The casting has a notch cut out of it to let the oil drain & the heicoil blocks this so the last bit of oil doesn't drain properly. My bike fried two agm batteries. Thanks for the video idea, 6v electris are a pain, that's why mine is converted to 12v. Thanks for commenting.
