Honda CTX1300 Meetup in the Mountains Day 1

The Honda CTX1300 crowd meet up for the first time in the NC Mountains--Meetup in the Mountains 2016! Riders from all over visited the NC Mountains to meet, ride, and share stories. It was a wonderful time. This video is of the first day, Friday, October 14th. Two more videos will follow.

Thanks for the comment. We are holding our 3rd annual national rally, "Meetup in the Mountains" next week! Oct. 11th - 14th, Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge in Western NC. There will be more CTX1300s at this year's event than last year, or the year before!

Four years ago I had to decide between CTX1300 and ST1300 and I decided to buy ST. Honda discontinued ST for CTX, but discontinued CTX after one year and now have no more bikes in sport touring spot. My ST has 100K and if I will upgrade my baby, it will be new ST1800-Goldwing. Thank you for the video. Ride safe.

Is there a way to change the leg position or any after market kits to put your legs in more straight seating position?

I am unaware of any available kit to bring the footpeg back. Check out the Honda CTX1300 Forum to see of there might be a thread on that topic.

Thanks much Chris for posting this video. I'm considering purchasing either a Honda ST1300 or CTX1300. Do you have any advice regarding the main differences between these two bikes and, do you know anyone who owns both bikes? Just curious. Also, at the 7:00 mark in this video clip there is a dark blue CTX1300 with what looks like an electronic adjustable windscreen. Do you know how this was done? I'd love to own a CTX1300 with this option. Thanks again!

Don't waste your Money either buy a Gold wing or Find a low Mile ST1300 Or FJR 1300. You'll be board in no time with an 80 hp Touring Boat.

Nope. GL more expensive for buying, Yamaha not do good like a Honda =)))) St1300 is very Old bike, I like ctx. I would to buy in same time, Then I saw this bike in opening 2021 bike season meeting.
