It will work because all the tailgates were the same, but from factory it was only a 2007-2011 option.

What size drill bit did you use to drill the holes?

I’m not sure, I never checked it just chose the closest fit to the hole.

do you have an aftermarket deflector you recommend?

They have some on eBay for $150. But they don’t fit quite right like OEM. I’d spend the money for an OEM one and have proper fitment and hold resale value. OEM ones go for $300-$400

I did the exact same thing to my hood replacing the built in nuts with rivnuts, rather than just using a bit stop. Little dimple on both corners of my hood. HAHAH lessons learned.

@@junkedelements let me recover from buying these Bc coilovers and I’ll get back with you. I’ve only had this element for a month but old owner swapped out stock SC suspension to regular element suspension so starting with that first. I don’t like the 4x4 look lol
