Honda Element carbon fiber builds

In this video we work on A pillar trim, a grille shell, and the lower grille/bumper. Also installed a grille insert from www.ELEMENTDIY.com. Perfect way to finish out the new carbon fiber parts. No hydrodip, no vinyl, these parts are skinned in real carbon fiber with 4 layers of epoxy resin on them, sanded from 240-1500 in 200 grit increments, then cleaned and clear coated. Then sanded with 2000 and 2500, then buffed with rubbing compound and machine polish. Finally treated with a ceramic coating that's hydrophobic to help prevent water spots.
