It's a great caar !! have been using V-CVT from last 6 months.. I have experienced multiple times, there is NO issue at all during immediate Overtake on single road..You can get the quick pickup whenever required.. Regarding Milage on NH Highways I have got 21-23 kmpl, City + Highways - 18 kmpl, only city 10 kmpl. Superb engineering!

I Own this car.V variant manual drive. City ਲੈਣੀ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਘਰ ਦੇ SUV type ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸੀ so ਇਹ ਲਈ।ਇਹ ਕਾਰ driver,s pleasure ਹੈ। ਇੰਜਣ ਬਹੁਤ smooth ਹੈ , ਖੜੀ ਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਦਾ ਕਿ ਸਟਾਰਟ ਹੈ, ਰੇਸ ਦੇਣ ਲਗਿਆਂ ਇੰਜਣ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ ਚੰਗੀ ਲਗਦੀ ਹੈ।ਓਵਰਟੇਕ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਿਆਂ 4th gear ਤਕ ਦਿੱਕਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ,ਏਸ ਤੋਂ ਉਪਰਲੇ gears ਚ underpower ਲਗਦੀ ਹੈ।90-100 ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਕੈਬਿਨ noise ਆਉਣ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ।average ਮੈਂ maximum 16-17 ਦੀ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੋਂ ਮਨਾਲੀ ਟੂਰ ਦਾ ਆਉਣਾ ਜਾਉਣਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ 15 ਦੀ avg ਮਿਲੀ।ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਚ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਚ ਕੋਈ ਦਿੱਕਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਈ। ਕਾਰ ਉੱਚੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਮੋਟੇ ਟੋਇਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਦਾ।stability ਵਧੀਆ ਹੈ।woofer ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਟਵੀਟਰ ਲਗਵਾਉਣੇ ਪਏ।

Yes right, fancy features of other brands lure customers while the no-nonsense character of Honda still holds its stance for which it is known. Honda Elevate might suffer a bit due to negative reviews of some, but I believe, a person who knows brands and machinery would not get affected by those negative reviews. A little research can lead to genuine experience videos, clarifying all myths and assuring great performance by Elevate.

Selected Elevate over grand vitara , as grand vitara is under powered. Did not select kushaq or salavia due to ESP and DSG issues. And, creta is 2lac overpriced as always. Elevate is the jack of trades and master of some.

​@@jauraanmol Well, if we go by the figures given by the company itself, maximum power of Grand Vitara is 102bhp whereas that of Honda Elevate is 119bhp. Also, last year when we went to Chail hill station, a family came there in newly purchased Grand Vitara and said the same thing, that the car feels under powered. I have not driven Grand Vitara even once, so I cannot say by my experience, but that might be the case in reality when the owners say such things themselves. Also, I believe, we should not refer to drag race videos as in real life we never go into situations of such hard racing with anyone. Even if someone insists, we should never even do this in these cars which are not at all meant for racing. Otherwise, in general conditions, even smaller cars serve the purpose very well with 800cc engine, so sufficient power is there in all the cars to do the needful as expected, its just our choice in the end that makes us place one car over the other :)

I got ZX CVT in May 2024 , it all depends on what you want . My Verdict on ELEVATE - you need a car while you still can carry pride with other competitive cars 😅 not for car enthusiasts in the sense car shld have all the aircraft features It's a very good car , provided you should tune to it and the car naturally will tune to you. My car when I got I know i want a car for long-term hence elevate is the best out there and am lazy to maintain.. 7k kms done 2 services done No nonsense Mileage am doing 12.5 in banglore and highway 15. Always AC on. Waiting to go to 18 kmpl after 10k service hopefully . Go for it if you want a car thts built for a purpose tht caters driving and very importantly safety needs I feel very confident on the stability part on the move but body roll is bit annoying hope govt fix the roads 😅😅. You want all extra stuff may be not . And thankyou bro for all the videos you patiently present . Elevate is for disciplined people not for overnight success 😂😂 if something has to long last fundamentals are to be right and I know you will have this car for a very long time in the midst of all the noises in the market . That is a very apt comment by you. Everything that you have mentioned will resonate with every Honda Elevate buyer, and perhaps with buyers of all Honda cars, as Honda is meant to run longer and ask for lesser maintenance. Honda in general, and Honda Elevate in specific, has the capacity to fulfil all the needs of customers, but not of those who expect features which are loaded just to lure customers and make a vehicle overpriced. I have clocked more than 19k kms in my Honda Elevate, and have no major complaints at all. No vehicle is perfect, and Honda Elevate is not perfect too, minor issues have come up and will be there in future too, but as far as nothing big comes up making it a deal breaker, the customer will be a happy one for sure, just like we are :)

Hi. Thank you for the appreciation. For most of the time, I have had max 4 passengers in my Honda Elevate, so the long drive feedback of 5th middle-seat passenger has not been experienced by me. But yes, for shorter drives, I have had 5th passenger too, and there has been no complaint at all for that short duration. Yes, no doubt that the hump would not leave the sitting experience as good as a straight surface, still the cushioning of seat is good enough to give good comfort and not give a bad time to the one sitting in the middle. If you are going to have 5 passengers on regular basis, i would recommend you to take a test drive accordingly considering it your priority, and then only decide for the purchase :) Best wishes.

I got ZX CVT in November 2024, facing some issue 1. Drum Brake noise when I'm driving in bumper to bumper traffic ( speed 0-2km/hr) , service centre said this noise is common among all CVT cars. Can you please confirm whether is this true or not? 2. Android Auto getting disconnected frequently. Service Centre is refusing to take a look at the problem unless we provide a video proof. Hoping that you will share some tips and guidance.

I haven't heard of the brake noise, haven't faced it yet, so a mechanic can guide you better about the reason of it, and how to rectify it. You can get the Android Auto software updated from the dealership. The issue of disconnection will still be there, won't be fully resolved, so it would be great if you use it with a wire. Wired android connection works perfectly fine.

Thank you for the appreciation. Initially, I also got lesser mileage but it increased with time probably because I understood the CVT response better and started driving accordingly. I don't think the dealership can do much about it, so just give some time to it. Meanwhile, you can try a few things like avoid hard acceleration, don't use Sport Mode, check mileage with tank to tank method (MID shows instantaneous mileage and not overall mileage), and you can just inform the dealership about less mileage when you visit for the first service at 1000kms, and see if they can give any helpful advice too. Enjoy the ride, it is an amazing car which gets more fun as you drive :)

Thanks for the informative video. After watching your video, I got the software updated, and so far, no issues faced in wireless mode. However, I have noticed another issue with regard to the average. I always fill my tank completely. The average displayed on MID and that calculated using tank fill method is different. Initially, for about 5000km, the figures were very close i.e. 0.1 to 0.2. But now there is a difference of about 0.5 to 0.8. I have been filling from the same petrol bunk. What could be the problem?

The mileage on MID is never accurate. I also shared about this difference in my initial videos, but now I don't really think much about the MID figures of mileage, as I always check it with tank to tank method :)

It is very much possible to drive in rain without rear wipers, not much hassle at all. However, if that is a requirement on priority basis, you can always look for other cars which have the same feature.

I have the same V-CVT -R variant, it's the most VFM. I drove the car in very Heavy rain without any issues... In my last car also -i20, was not having rear wipers. So, go for it. I would not suggest VX variant. If you really want it then go for ZX variant...

Yes, no doubt about that, there are many customers who buy Grand Vitara or Hyryder mainly because of the Hybrid engine. Specially when the car is to be driven in city, hybrid engine gives far better mileage. Adding the hybrid variant to the current line of variants of Honda Elevate would be a great decision for Honda.

Hi, the problem of wireless android auto being disconnected still comes up at times. The issue has been resolved to a great extent i would say, as it does not get disconnected as often as it got earlier, but still it gets disconnected sometimes once in a while. Now i use wired android and it works flawlessly.

Drive is great uphill and downhill, no problem at all. Height of 5'3 would have no issues in Elevate. Taller person feels lack of under-thigh support, but there would be no problem with 5'3 height.

@@dkadlakha I believe it would cost around Rs.15.5 Lakh on road. The 1.5L petrol engine is Honda's USP, we buy Honda because of the long term reliability and low maintenance costs. The V variant has the same engine and body as the other variants, with just some less features than the upper variants. Getting Honda's CVT engine in this price and in this SUV is a great deal. If it fits your budget and requirements, i would suggest you to buy it without any doubt sir. Best wishes :)

Do you miss Cruise control on highway? I am currently using Amaze Automatic and planning to upgrade to elevate, but sadly Cruise control is available only in ZX which is beyond my budget.

Honestly, I do not miss cruise control at all. Even when I drive on highways, those highways are not expressways where we can cruise at one speed for long distances. The highways that we usually drive on, have unusual and unpredictable traffic every few kilometers, so i have felt that having an automatic vehicle is sufficient both in city and highway. I had budget constraint too, but with instalments, I could have jumped to ZX CVT variant without much difficulty. Cruise control is there in ZX variant of Honda Elevate. However, I purchased VX variant and there is no cruise control in this option.

Honda city cvt gives max 10 km/ l in small city like Patiala

I have lived in Patiala since childhood, for more than 20 years. Being a small city, Patiala or any similar small city does not give the vehicle enough space to be driven in higher gears and lower RPMs. Since the car gets driven in smaller gears only and covers very less distance in more time and fuel, so the mileage that we get is quite less. Moreover, the traffic in Patiala is now on a higher side as compared to the available space, getting good city mileage can't even be expected now !

If ZX comes in your budget, you should go for it. If you want to save that 1 lakh amount, you can go for VX. Its all about budget first of all, all other things come after that :)
