Have you experienced following in Honda Elevate. 1. The wireless charger after about 20-25 minutes makes the phone very hot & the charging stops. I use an iPhone, now whether it’s the iPhone or the wireless charger is the question. 2. The Wireless Apple Car Play has a glitch, gets disconnected sometimes. Honda said they are coming with a software update.

Hi. Someone once told me about the wireless charging issue, it was not with the phone in his case, it was an issue with the car's charger. Also, wireless disconnect issue is a known issue in Honda Elevate, and there has not been any official announcement about software update yet. I am also following this issue very closely, there hasn't been any word about software update that i know of!

During hard acceleration, the noise issue is that of the engine noise, engine noise is definitely there when we floor the acceleration pedal, but I love that sound as it reflects the engine feedback at the time of quick acceleration. TPMS is not at all necessary, i don't recommend to install it. If it had been an integrated feature, it would have been a different story altogethee, but when it is not there and is not a very important feature, then why get it installed later! VX CVT is a great value for money variant, i have the same, and i haven't got anything done after purchasing it. Just buy your Elevate and enjoy the ride :)

@@satishpantadi4901 It is important to select a segment first, as both the cars are from different segments. Nexon is Sub-4 Meter SUV whereas Elevate is bigger and more spacious. Other features can then be compared as per your requirement.

Hi. Claiming insurance can vary according to insurance company and also according to dealerships, it would be better if you compare your requirements for the car, and spend your hard-earned money accordingly. Mileage of Hyryder is better as it has less power than Elevate and it further increases for hybrid variants. Its all about making up your mind, both cars will surely fulfill your needs.

If you want value for money get the Manual Version. I personally have the VX MT and I have been really satisfied with the car. It makes no sense to pay 1.3 lakh more for CVT. CVT is okay for the city but you will feel that Manual makes more sense if you drive more on the highway. Elevate MT is 1.5 seconds quicker in 0-100 so you get better performance with the manual. Another thing is that the Noise levels is less in Manual.

What you are saying is just your opinion and not a fact, so it has to be said according to your perspective and not as if it is the only truth available. 1. In Punjab, the on-road price difference of VX MT and VX CVT was around Rs.90,000/- when i purchased the car. 2. In my opinion and according to my driving style, CVT makes more sense both on highways and in city. CVT gives more mileage on highway as it is a 7-speed CVT gearbox while MT is only 6-speed gearbox. If the car is driven at same speed in a higher gear, it will definitely give more mileage. And CVT is a blessing in city as well. 3. I am not a speed enthusiast at all, I like gradual acceleration, and CVT is more than sufficient when it comes to pick-up, so even if MT goes from 0-100 in 5 seconds less time, it will still not matter to me as I never like to accelerate like this. 4. Noise levels might be less in MT, but as far as Engine noise or NVH levels are concerned, I am satisfied with Honda Elevate CVT in every way, a little more noise than other cars does not mean that it is something to hate, it is totally alright and I have even shared videos about mileage and NVH levels earlier. 5. All in all, it was your choice to buy MT, good that you are liking it and enjoying your ride. Those who purchased CVT, it was their choice and priority as it suited their budget also. Both MT and CVT are good according to the preference of the respective customers.

@@mubaraksandhu 1. Look I get it that you prefer CVT but it will still not change the fact that Manual is quicker and will be better on Hills and Highways. 2. CVT is more fuel efficient on Highway but Manual is more efficient in the City so it is not that much of a difference. You don't need to be a speed enthusiast to need power. When driving on single lane roads where there are lots of trucks I need the power to quickly and safely overtake. It is a misconception that only speed enthusiasts need more power. 3. Another fact, which is true regardless of who you ask, is that the manual has less noise. The CVT makes much more noise. I don't get why you are arguing against facts. In my opinion the only reason to buy the CVT is if you are someone who wants to get the maximum mileage possible from the engine. CVT just takes the fun out of driving.

Replying now to the points you wrote: 1. I have driven lacs of KMs in MT cars including Zen, City, Verna Fluidic, Elite i20. Elevate is my first CVT car, so an automatic car has not always been a preference, I just happened to make my mind for it and am now loving the decision I made. Next thing, as I shared earlier, MT being quicker than CVT is not a concern for me at all, so this fact has negligible effect on any buyer who wants to buy a CVT in any car. MT might be better on hills, but yet again, that does not mean CVT is not convenient at all or that CVT is not at all fun, I have travelled in hills and on highways with Elevate CVT and have loved the experience, not missing my MT cars at all, thanks to the amazing performance CVT gives. 2. MT is more fuel efficient in city, but CVT is far more convenient considering the increasing traffic on roads. Also, you can check my previous videos where I have already talked about driving on single roads and overtaking in tight patches of road, Elevate CVT responds very quickly to our acceleration requirement, and overtakes in such situations very easily and safely. I have discussed about this in my ownership experience videos already. Yet again, it is important to mention that this is never said in comparison with MT cars, I share what i experience, very honestly and genuinely, it is not always important to compare, just sharing about the current situation or product is also important, to help viewers understand the response that product gives us in real life situation. 3. I have already shared about this another fact regardless of what you say, that I do not find the Elevate CVT noisy. The noise may be more than MT or even more than many other cars, but i love that sound when engine roars when we press the acceleration paddle. That sound shows the feedback of engine according to the acceleration that we want from it, so the fact that CVT is more noisy is very much fine with me, as it is with many other buyers whom I know. In my opinion, the only reason to buy CVT is not to get maximum mileage, when you are yourself saying that it gives lesser mileage in city, then how can this be the only reason! There can be many reasons to buy CVT, the biggest reason is the convenience and ease of driving considering the increasing traffic nowadays. After driving lacs of KMs in MT cars, my experience with Elevate CVT is that it is more fun to drive than MTs. It adds more fun to driving wherever we go, in city or hills or highways or on bad off-road patches too, as it picks up the gears itself and gives a great experience to the driver, with no concern of shifting the gears manually. And well, if needed, paddle shifters are always there to downshift and accelerate, but I haven't used them ever, the pickup and performance is already great in Elevate CVT. This is not an argument against any fact. I always connect with my viewers here, and I feel that I should respond to viewers who take out time and write something in comments. It is an exchange of opinions here, and not a one-way dialogue, so you should respect when someone responds to your comment, rather than feeling bad about it and calling it an argument. Every customer has own preferences and priorities based on a lot of different aspects, it is good to share those aspects in a way that those are someone's opinions, and not facts that cannot be disagreed upon.

Have concern about CVT for its low end torque in hills and also compare to Torque converter which is considered as the best automatic transmission in terms of pickup and durability .. I am confused Elevate with bXUV 3XO which offers u Torque converter and pappy engine .. I am ok with XUV 3XO space . Price wise elevate VX and XUV’s AX5 are almost similar.. Please guide ..

Somehow I missed your comment and was not able to reply earlier. All 3 cars that you are comparing are of different segment, your confusion will never end if you will try to choose between 3 different segments. First of all, you must shortlist your requirements, then the size of vehicle you want to buy, of course the budget that you can fix, and then decide wisely where to spend your hard-earned money :) I have driven my Elevate CVT in hills too, I didn't feel any issue with its power there, it serves the purpose very well. If you prefer a car with more torque and peppy engine, go for your choise of 3XO, and if you want a bigger vehicle with more space and better road presence, you can go for the other options. All the cars have something more or less than the other cars, so eventually, whichever car you will buy, I am sure it will fulfil most of your requirements, it just comes down to making up your mind and choosing one out of many :)

Mujhe kushaq k features ka zaada nahi pta, lekin maine pehle Honda City 15 years tk rakhi hai, aur ab Elevate bhi 10 years tk zrur rakhunga, isi soch k sath khareedi thi. To mujhe lagta hai apko Elevate leni chahiye. Baaki, features aap zrur compare kr lena aur apne budet k hisab se price bhi check kr lena dono cars k, bcoz mujhe inke latest prices nahi pta hain. Now, all the variants are available with an option of additional safety of 6 airbags, we can opt for this by paying extra or we can buy the other usual variant as was available earlier also. @@mubaraksandhu , I suggest you try the XP-95 petrol from India Oil. I use the same regularly now and am getting 17+ mileage consistently with AC on Highways. Also the pick up and engine refinement gets improved with XP-95. (note I have ZX CVT variant)

I agree that the 'assumption' that NCAP ratings will be 5 star should not be made. Let the actual tests be done and we'll all know. However, I believe it is injustice to assess built quality on the basis of fit and finishing and interior plastic quality. Also, looking at the interiors, I believe you're talking about VX where yes, Honda has compromised on plastics quality a bit. In ZX, the panel gaps and interior plastic-fabric quality are really good and gives you an up-market feel and confidence.

Interior quality is being discussed to highlight the compromises, like the plastic quality, which is same in ZX variant also. I am fully satisfied with seats and many other interiors and features even in VX, but that feel of compromise comes up at times. Build quality, specially panel gaps, are totally same in VX and ZX variants. Fit and finish of windows is also same across both these variants. The chassis and measurements of doors/boot/bonnet etc do not change at all, they are exactly the same across variants, changes are made on features and add-ons other than these basic structural parameters which build the fundamental structure of car, which is same in all variants. I am still happy and satisfied with Honda Elevate, it is an amazing product in this price. And because the prices have already increased, it becomes an even better product for customers like us who purchased at lesser price last year :)

Just that structural integrity of chassis can be asserted only after crash test because it depends on the chassis skeleton. Anyway, on your last point on price, I booked ZX CVT last year and I'm expecting to receive it in May (I asked for May specifically). So, can you please tell me whether I'll be charged higher price or the price at which I booked? I'm very excited to finally get my hands on it.

@@zattwik You will be charged the current price now. When i purchased, the Honda representative informed me that whenever we take the delivery of car, the rates at the time of delivery apply to us and not the rates that were there at the time of booking.
