I feel Honda missed the train with their pricing. To capitalise the market, they should have priced atleast a lakh and a half below Creta. With facelift from Kia and upcoming one from Creta, Elevate will fallback for sure. I was keen that they will have a hybrid option, and i would i gone for it for sure.

I'm not convinced with Honda engine for this beautiful vehicle adding a Hybrid could help adding torque for quick overtakes and high hill or slope climbs. Japanese always gives you what they wish to and not what Indians wanted its evident with all Japanese automobile companies in India. Anyone looking for a vehicle that need to run on road for 10 plus years surely choose this but not enthusiastically one could drive on highways. for the price point you have N number of options in market, Honda you're not only one in Indian automobile industry we have grown up..

Go for sedan bro first for u r first car u will never go wrong with sedans u will get the practicality performance stability with sedans which cannot be seen much in suv you can go for Virtus/Slavia for the extra ground clearance

SUV types are much easier compared to hatchback. While drive in SUV u will get good road presence and u need to worry abt ground clearence. whichever ever car, it will come handy once it come in your hand . maximum 2 weeks it will be urs

Bro saying from my hatchback experience.. Just go for it bro... Don't think it's big and will take some time to learn get used to it, you will get used to it in 2 months max.. actually getting an SUV style car is better for indian condition, cos of bumps and potholes.. hatchback will often hit the bummps and you need to be really careful. Second issue is boot space, you will regret when you go out on a family trip, when 5 people are seated you need space for luggage, hatchback will not give it. Third more power and torque compared to hatchback will easily pick up and will be comfortable in triple digit speeds, this will help you to Cruze large distance without much body pain and tiredness. ( Easy to maintain triple digit speeds are much needed for indian highways now as most of the roads expanding work will be over in next 5 years). Next is road presence, when you go for a function let's say a friend's reception.. hatchbacks will be the most common ones and you will be one among the mids.. actually SUV'S will elevate your presence ! Lastly roadrage, people who hold a bigger vehicle ( like innova, Creta or xuv 700 or virtue etc ) will never respect a hatchback in highways, you will feel their dominance always they always try to show their power ( you will realize this later ) When you buy a car you will keep for the next 5 years, so make a good decision ! My suggestion would be if you have the budget just go for it ! All the best !!

@@dinakaranannadhorai2721 that's why I recommend sedans like Virtus/Slavia which have enough ground clearance and can do easy triple digit speeds and cornering stability is more compared to SUV and boot carrying capacity is more compared to SUV and main thing u r getting a 5 star safety gncap car which most of the cars in this segment don't provide except tata which have poor service centre and engine reliability issues

Honda should have brought the turbo engine to elevate, because in highway at mid point thrust will be missed, where as world is moving away, my immediately family has 2 2023 honda city, but elevate engine options is a big let down

Bro to be frank, I have worked in Hyundai sales, for us the turbo varient is always a hard sell and it's the 1.5NA that sells more, and this car is the most powerful NA of the segment, the turbo comes only with a dct in Hyundai or Kia and it's above 20lakhs we find very little takers
