Another great video! Dr. Pulley ain't got nothing over Dr. Mitch the "Grand Master Wizard" mechanic of all scooters! When I bought my '96 Helix 6 years ago with 22,000 miles on it the CVT was slipping a bit on take offs so I decided that I was just going to replace everything on it for piece of mind but didn't want to take my chances with a unreliable Chinese unit so I wound up buying every single part from Honda and assembled it myself but ditched the rollers for some 21 gram Dr. Pulley sliders dusted with Blaster dry lube per watching your videos and what a difference it made, it's still been very reliable but I may tear it down for inspection purposes after this riding season ends. 🤔😊😊😊

I have had that scooter as my main transportation. Even in winter! One weak spot was that the ignition timing got off set

Great video man!! :) Just a tip, when you are cleaning caked variator, you can use tiny painting brush with gasoline, diesel, paint thinner.. for a quicker job of loosening the grime, and then you can use brake cleaner just to clean it all the way without too much wait for the drying ( but be careful with colored parts), and the small air compressor (24l) is a game changer for dusting off :)

Hello Mitch, I saw that MAXIMA brand has two different products in their website: MAXIMA WATERPROOF GREASE and MAXIMA ASSEMBLY GREASE Which one is better to use in the clutch parts you mentioned? Thanks and best wishes! 🙏

Hey, assembly grease for assembling the engine parts together. Waterproof grease is for parts outside of the engine like CVT parts, wheel bearings, axle bolts and more
