That's years of neglect. Probably the first clay bar it's ever seen. Edit: btw I've never heard clay bar make that much scrubbing noise or saw dirt like that come out.

A lot of crap stuck in the pores of the paint. Shows how bad it was. It's super smooth now.

I plan on fully detailing my truck here pretty soon and i'm worried mine will be this bad. I've just started to get into serious detailing here the past 6 months or so and my truck hasn't been clayed or anything besides wax and wash in the 10 years that i've owned it. Hopefully it's not too bad.

Depends if the car is garaged or not, but 10 years is a good while. Does it feel rough with your fingers?

@@MikeEM1 Sadly, it has not been garaged since the day I got it. There definitely are contaminates in the paint but not as bad considering. I purchased the Nano Skin Auto Scrub along with the Chemical Guys heavy duty clay bar so if there are any deeper contaminates I can use the Clay Bar. The hood is definitely rough along with the front two quarter panels, which make sense.

Some people just don't know. Think car wash is all it needs. Car feels great now with nothing stuck in the pores of the paint.
