Looking forward to taking my Fit to the Tail of the Dragon. I wanna at least install the Progress rear sway bar first though! And maybe some upgraded brake pads and rotors...

It looks like some fun was had! I run my GK5 on track here in Jamaica. What size tyres were you running? I've been running 205/50/16, what are your thoughts on 195/50/15 instead?

This road is great fun in a Fit driving at 6/10. Pushing it any harder than that is taking chances with the lives of the others on the road. If you really want to explore the limits of the car and your ability, then go to a track. It's an environment with safety features and where hazards are removed or at least reduced as much as practical. It's a place where you can relax and focus on going fast without worry about traffic or cops. It's a place where you can benefit from the experience and instruction of others. Once you have track experience, you will realize how irrelevant driving fast on a public road is.

@trackie1957 cool story. Instead of writing a novel you might of noticed all the track stickers & door cards on the car.

@@TripSkyWalker Wow! Sorry! I didn’t realize stickers, harnesses and roll cages can make your car harmless to other people using the road! Take a right hander too hot and drift across the centerline into a camper coming the other way and no number of stickers will save them. If you are pointing to the stickers as evidence that you have track experience, then you know that everything I said about the difference between driving on a track and reckless endangerment on a public road is true, and you simply choose to do it anyway.
