Since some people ask about the white uniform, they wear it because they do the "light type" of service on the bikes, and customers can watch their work :) The "real" mechanics inside, probably wear blue overalls, or even just regular jeans/t-shirt.. Pretty normal all over the globe ;) Thanks for the video Joe, made me wish I could go out and pamper my own ride, but its freezing cold, so it´ll have to wait a few months :D

Exactly why I do my own maintenance on my Forza, they don’t torque those bolts or filter. Some of these tech’s believe more is better, and I’ve had the crush washer snap leaving a nice puddle of oil in the morning. I’m surprised Honda doesn’t do any QC on their dealers.
@PANAM3292 жыл бұрын
Well taken care bro, pretty nice bike. I own a Honda Forza 300 ( imported from Italy ) and would like to learn from your channel. However, the Honda Thailand did not use the Torque wrench while handling the bolts that need to be considered a premium service provider. Subscribed!

Nice video. Just had my Forz 350 done ( 1st service ) for $190 AUD at a Honda dealer near where I live (Perth Australia) Originally said would take a couple hours due to workshop commitments, but due to them having more workshop delay problems .. I got it back in 4-5 hours. After watching your video I notice the changing of the gear oil ? When I asked the manager of workshop what they did at my service, he said changed oil and filter .. checked all the nuts and bolts (torque settings). That’s all he said. Yeah well. I think I’ll go to another dealer to get the final drive gear oil changed. Noticed factory marked drain plug position on final drive the original spot though maybe when removed and replaced could be the same (that’s a maybe or a fact?). I’m guessing gear oil at rear not changed. Also .. no sticker anywhere about next service either. Under the seat would be a nice place to put it. Question Foreigner Joe. How many psi did serviceman put in your tyres? Mine 33 and 36. I’m solo rider. I like 28 and 33. Cheers mate.

While I’m not certain, I’ve heard of people that just use their International Drivers permit without a motorcycle endorsement. @@FOREIGNER2B I'm not sure why people seem to be obsessed with changing the oil way under the recommendation of the manufacturer, years ago at a Honda dealer in the UK when I was having my bike serviced and I noticed the cost of the oil on the receipt and commented on it, the guy on the parts counter pointed out an oil on the shelf and said "that is what they will have used" he also told me that in truth the fully synthetic oil could probably go three to four times the stated replacement interval as the oil was that much better than mineral oil, so my view since then is fully synthetic should have no problem doing the stated manufacturer interval.
