Literally my favorite four wheeler of all time. I had a 98, me and my dad rode that thing every single weekend for 20 years, all 4 seasons in the northeast, not ONCE did it leave us stranded. Weve had it floating in ponds, buried in mud pits, crankin up dunes, thick woods smackin the skid plate on boulders. COULD NOT KILL IT.

sticking a magnet to the bottom of the gas cap while shaking the tank works well for me. love the vids keep it up man

And we had one we was working on same modle it was low on compression just a lil bit and it just wouldn’t run . Had to rebuild the top end

100% timing chain the 300 fourtrax uses the same timing chain as the 300ex also
