There is lots of things can be wrong In your case, that noise I have no idea But could be gas pressure, dirty Carb, choke out of position, Coil pack problems, spark plugs/ wires

A better way to test the solenoid is put the meter on dcvolts. When the solenoid is tested opif it’s good the volts should change from battery voltage to zero.

Hi Phillip, If the Relay/Resistor Clicking make sure Check the wire from the resistor switch, to Starter motor if you have a Multimeter put the Black to the body ground and the other end to the wire from the Relay to Starter motor, if that's good let me know we go to the next step, don't change the Resistor until you do this first

Good morning Aremxlle, thanks for watching this video, if that one click is at the Silinoid then I would check the parking sensor or anything other safety switch if its applicable, and check the wire from the Silinoid to the Starter motor and make sure the Starter motor got good ground and tight , hope that helps and thanks for checking out ISHMOTORPARTS

Hola Fabian, Perdon por responder tarde y gracias por visitar mi Canal, Lastimosamente no tengo un Buena respuesta o solución por tu pregunta pero de acuerdo de Caros/vehículo, puede ser El throttle body necesita limpiar, O un Mangera de aire/vacuum, se dobla cuando se calienta el vehículo, o un Reley o señor debe actuar en ciertas temperaturas pero si no trabajo también causa ese problema, al último un 1% es la Computadora

Soo I just installed ignition switch and the lights come on but when I put start get nothing .. but if I unplug wires and connect the two starting wires she rolls right over.. any ideas?

I'm not very sure what Wires you unplugged but if you talking about unplugging from the Battery then the problem is your Starter silinoid

El mío empezó a no querer prender con el botón y se escuchaba como que no tenía la fuerza suficiente para prender. Después el botón paró de funcionar y estaba haciendo click en el solenoide. Las luces de en frente no aluzaban bien y las luces de neutral también no alumbraba tanto. Al siguiente día las luces no prendían cuando le giraba con la llave y el solenoide paró de hacer click y ahora no prende con botón. Tengo que hacerlo con el kick start pero se me apaga y truena mucho. Ayuda 😅

Hola Trigerak aem, La razón de que no ay suficiente fuerza el Carburador necesita limpiar o el filtro de gas y de Aire. Y las luces es la Batería por eso poco a poco se secó totalmente, Carga la Batería primero al 100% y prueba otra ves, si las luces ya ilumina bien entonces dele un limpieza del filtro de aire y gas Empieza con eso primero

Ok the Solenoid is clicking now at this time you should get 12 volts at the Starter motor, if not check at the Solenoid output it should have 12 volts, or by checking Continuity between the incoming and outgoing post on Solenoid

The explanation of how this particular relay works is not quite right (and might make a difference to your troubleshooting). When you push the starter button (switch) while the key (switch) is engaged, the kill switch is in the right position, and you are in neutral (switch), power is sent to the coil in the relay via the yellow wire and back to ground via the green wire. The powered donut-shaped coil sets up a magnetic field that draws the piston down into the donut hole where it bangs into a metal plate that does nothing more than absorb the force of the piston slamming down (this is the source of the click). A little copper nub sits between the two big contacts on top and is spring-loaded. When the piston is drawn down, the spring pushes the nub down into the two big contacts on top, completing the circuit to the starter. When you release the starter button, the circuit to the relay coil is broken, the magnetism disappears, and a spring around the piston pushes the piston up, which pushes the nub away from the big contacts, breaking the circuit to the starter. So, in a non-starting condition, the spring-loaded piston is always forced against the spring-loaded nub. What goes bad in something this simple? Corrosion preventing contact, or a broken spring, or hitting too often or holding the starter button too long burns out the tiny coil wire. You might be able to fix a corroded relay by hitting it a couple of times. You can TAKE IT APART and see if you can repair it. Video called "GY6 Starter Solenoid Testing, Disassembly & Repair" is very good.

That most likely is your starter silinoid is out or the small wire from the ignition switch to the silinoid is damaged, The first thing you need to do is check the small wire and the Ground at the Starter Silinoid

Hello, there is a problem on my 2008 Honda trx250tm ES fourtrax. the indicator on the display shows a different position compared to the position on the gearbox. for example on the screen it says that the gearbox is in first gear, but the gearbox is actually in neutral and the green light for neutral does not light up. when I press the small handle and the button down to put it in reverse, the green light for neutral comes on and the gearbox is in reverse gear. I note that I can't get the letter R on the screen at all. I changed the angle sensor but everything is the same. Does anyone have a solution?

Hi there Cluosport, After carefully ridding your comment, For my understanding sounds like you need to adjust a shifting Rod, or shifting Slave, let me know if that helps, if not. Hopefully someone give us some advice
