Honda GCV160 engine won’t start or surges. Cleaned & Replaced Carburetor Spark Plug & Air Filter

Honda GCV160 lawnmower engine on craftsman machine wouldn’t start and stay running.
Changed spark plug and cleaned carburetor. No joy.
Ordered new carburetor off Amazon:
Panari GCV160 Carburetor + Tune... www.amazon.com...
Removed blade and sharpened before reinstalling.
Changed air cleaner as well as it came with the kit.

Appreciated and I’m trying to get better with the editing and things. The kids are helping me to be honest. Something they are good at and it helps me spend some time with them before they are too cool to hang out with Dad.

It is. Aunt Pam makes it for me about once a year. The recipe is from her Aunt Elizabeth written down about 90 years ago.
